Hello, what is with this russkie ship/s in the Mediterranean Sea? One day there is one, the next day or two there are two ships, and some days there are none. From where are they coming, where are they going, and where are they stationed? Atlantic, Adriatic, Aegean, Tartus? Are the Dardanelles and Bosphorus not closed to foreign military ships? Just curious. Thanks, and thank you for these reports.

In the Mediterranean, there is a Russian squadron. We monitor and display the number of ships on duty in the sea. This practice has been in place since Soviet times. Their base is in Tartus, Syria. The squadron does not have a permanent composition; ships from all Russian fleets take turns there according to a schedule.
