Operational situation
On the Northern Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked in the areas of Glushkovo, Tetkino, and Novyi Put.
Russian troops tried to advance in Yunakivka, attacked near Kindrativka, Oleksiivka, Andriivka, Yablunivka, Novomykolayivka, Sadky.
On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops crossed the Vovcha River and advanced in the western part of Vovchansk on the southern bank, attacked near Hlyboke, Lyptsi.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops advanced on the southern outskirts of Hlushkivka, attacked near Holubivka, Kindrashivka, Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Novoplatonivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, toward Olkhivka.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted successful counterattacks and restored positions on the northwestern outskirts of Ridkodub.

On the Siversk direction, Russian troops conducted assaults near Hryhorivka, Vyimka, Fedorivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops tried to advance west of Chasiv Yar, in the center and southern part of the city, to Bila Hora and the northern outskirts of Stupochky, continued assaults near Bondarne, Markove, Novomarkove, Predtechyne.
On the Toretsk direction, Russian troops advanced northwest of Dyliivka and are fighting for the village, tried to advance west of Oleksandro-Kalynove and Yablunivka, attacked near Toretsk, Dachne, Shcherbynivka, toward Poltavka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Katerynivka, Romanivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops advanced along the T0515 Pokrovsk – Andriivka highway northeast of Shevchenkove, tried to advance from Molodetske, bypass Udachne, attacked near Malynivka, Myrne, Volodymyrivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Sukhy Yar, Dachenske, Kotlyne, toward Novopidhorodne.
On the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops try to advance northwest and east of Yalta, north of Komar, troops advanced north of Shevchenko, west of Vilne Pole, south of Novopil, attacked Novopavlivka, near Novoserhiyivka, Novomykolayivka, Muravka, Kotlyarivka, Troitske, Oleksiivka, Novoukrainka, Bahatyr, Odradne, Zelenyi Kut, Zoria, Zaporizhzhia, Fedorivka, Myrne, Shevchenkove, Zelene Pole, toward Voskresenka.
On the Huliaypole direction, Russian troops conduct street fighting in Malynivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked near Malynivka.
On the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops advanced along the E105 Vasylivka – Kamianske highway in the center of Kamianske, southeast of Mala Tokmachka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked near Robotyne.
On the Prydniprovskyi Direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces dealt a UAV airstrike on the position area of the S-400 division in Crimea, damaging a self-propelled launcher, two multifunctional 92N2E control radars, and two 91N6E detection radars.
General conclusion:
Enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups reduced activity near the international border in Sumy Oblast.
On the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops constantly attack in small groups, use motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles (quad bikes), and constantly attack near Vovchansk.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops constantly attack along the Oskil River near Kupyansk, try to encircle the city, unsuccessfully establish crossings, and are forced to ferry vehicles (quad bikes) and motorcycles to the right bank of the Oskil River by boats and rafts. The enemy optimizes logistics and intensifies assaults north and east of Kupyansk.
The enemy command is sending reinforcements to the Kramatorsk direction.
The enemy has concentrated about 111,000 personnel on the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy focuses efforts south of Pokrovsk, attacks on motorcycles from Selydove toward Shevchenkove, and strikes Ukrainian positions near Shakhove with Geran-2 attack drones.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
There were 153 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back invaders. The enemy carried out 12 airstrikes.
On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the aggressor attacked seven times in the areas of Vovchansk, Fiholivka, and toward Petro-Ivanivka and Dovhenke.
On the Kupyansk direction, yesterday there were five enemy attacks. The enemy’s assault actions were stopped in the areas of Pishchane, Kindrashivka, and in the directions of Novoplatonivka and Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 17 times, trying to break into the defense in the areas of Lypove, Shyikivka, Novoserhiyivka, Ridkodub, Torske, and in the directions of Hlushchenkove, Hrekivka, Shandryholove, Novyi Myr.
On the Siversk direction, two enemy attacks near Ivano-Dariivka were stopped.
On the Kramatorsk direction, five combat clashes were recorded near Markove, Predtechyne, and toward Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 17 attacks toward Yablunivka, Dyliivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Rusyn Yar, near Shcherbynivka, Novospaske.
On the Pokrovsk direction, 56 assault actions of the aggressor were stopped in the areas of Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Novoserhiyivka, Udachne, Novomykolayivka, Troitske, and in the directions of Volodymyrivka, Myrnohrad, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, Poltavka, Oleksiivka, Myrne, Novopavlivka.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of Shevchenko, Fedorivka, and toward Zaporizhzhia, Myrne, Perebudova, Yalta, and Komar.
On the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers tried three times to advance near Kamianske.
On the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to approach the positions of Ukrainian Defense Forces.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 0 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 0 cruise missiles.
Supporting operation:
Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a special operation against the enemy’s Marinovka airbase in Volgograd Oblast. Two Su-34 bombers were destroyed, two more were damaged, and damage was inflicted on buildings and airbase units.

The 27th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Tank Army operates near Lozova.

Possible operation situation developments:
On the Northern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy’s “Sever (North)” Operational Grouping is trying to reach the Mala Korchakivka – Nova Sich – Maryinka – Sadky line in the near future.
On the Kupyansk direction, the command of the enemy's "Zapad (West)" Operational Grouping will advance with forces of the 144th Motorized ized Rifle Division from the bridgehead near Nove toward the high ground near the village of Cherneshchyna, and with forces of the 4th Tank Division, which is advancing on converging directions Raihorodka–Cherneshchyna and Pershotravneve–Kopanky, will attempt to encircle a tactical group of the “Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Grouping (OSG) defending along the Novoyehorivka–Hrekivka line.
On the Lyman direction, the forces of the "Zapad (West)" Operational Grouping will advance towards the Karlivka – Shandryholove – Drobysheve line while simultaneously advancing near Torske to approach Lyman from the east. The 25th Combined Arms Army will advance in the Dibrova – Yampil direction and in the area of the Serebriansk Forest in order to break through the communication lines of the "Khortytsia" OSG.
On the Siversk direction, the command of the enemy's "Yug (South)" Operational Grouping will attempt to eliminate the Siversk salient held by "Khortytsia" OSG and break through towards the Sloviansk – Kramatorsk agglomeration. The 3rd Combined Arms Army will try to break through to the northern bank of the Siverskyi Donets River between Yampil and Hryhorivka, and from the southeast – toward Siversk.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the command of the enemy’s “Yug (South)” Operational Grouping and the 3rd Army may shift the direction of their main strike to the north of Chasiv Yar and launch an offensive on both sides of the Bakhmut–Sloviansk road, along the directions of Orikhovo-Vasylivka–Minkivka and Blahodatne–Pryvillya. This would allow them to break through to the immediate approaches to Sloviansk directly from the southeast and create a real threat of a deep envelopment of the right flank of the “Starobilsk” Operational Tactical Group (OTG). If the enemy succeeds in achieving operational surprise along these directions and advances to tactical depth, the situation in the Kolodyazi–Hryhorivka section on the Lyman direction will deteriorate significantly for the “Kharkiv” OTG.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces will have to withdraw from a fairly large area on both banks of the Vovcha River and fall back to the Novopavlivka–Piddubne line.

Humanitarian + general:
On the night of June 28, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian territory with 23 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of decoy drones. Air defense systems destroyed 22 of them; however, one hit and debris from downed drones were recorded.
As a result of a Russian drone strike on Odesa on the evening of June 27, a married couple was killed — Kateryna Borsynska, a teacher and social pedagogue at the local "Mykhailivskyi" lyceum, and her husband Valentyn. Fourteen people were injured, including three children. Russia struck a 21-story residential building. The impact caused a fire on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors.
In the village of Stavyshche in the Shevchenkove community, Kharkiv Oblast, two children aged 12 and 15 were injured by the explosion of an unidentified object.
On Saturday, June 28, Russian forces carried out artillery and drone strikes on Kherson Oblast, injuring six people. Four people were wounded in Kherson due to explosives dropped from drones, while two others were injured in Bilozerka and Dariivka as a result of artillery shelling and a drone attack, respectively.
Russian forces struck a village in Zaporizhzhia Oblast with FPV drones, injuring a 16-year-old girl.
During the day, Russian forces attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with drones, artillery, and glide bombs (KABs), injuring two people.
In the evening of June 28, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with drones. One person is known to be injured, and the roof of a private house is on fire.
