In the operational zone of the Ukrainian Operational Group of Forces (OG) "Kharkiv" there were 12 engagements on the Kharkiv direction. Ten attacks were repelled in the areas of Lyptsi and Ternova, and fighting continues in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsya.
In the "Khortytsia" Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSG) operational zone on the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to dislodge the Ukrainian Defense Forces from their positions 22 times. Combat engagements occurred in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Novoyehorivka, Druzhelyubivka, Hrekivka, and Nevske. Fighting continues near Petropavlivka, Berestove, and Novoyehorivka. On the Lyman direction, 3 enemy attempts to advance were repelled. Fighting is ongoing in the area of Terny. On the Kramatorsk direction, an enemy attack was repelled near Ivanivka, and fighting continues in the area of Andriivka.
In the "Tavriya" OSG operational zone, on the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces continued attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses from the area of Ocheretyne, with four engagements ongoing. Fighting is taking place near Sokil and Umanske. The enemy achieved partial success in some areas. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are implementing active measures to stabilize the situation.
General conclusion:
Russian forces have ramped up operations at bases and depots in the Graivoron – Borisovka – Proletarsky area recently, possibly indicating the formation of a strike group in Belgorod Oblast, Russia.
Russian forces may launch offensives in Sumy Oblast or adjacent areas in Kharkiv Oblast to stretch and pin down Ukrainian Defense Forces along Ukraine’s northeastern border.
The objective of the enemy's actions on the Kharkiv direction should be seen not as an advance on Kharkiv, but as an attempt to outflank "Khortytsia" OSG which is conducting a defensive operation in the Kupyansk area, and to capture the territory of Kharkiv Oblast east of the Siversky Donets reservoir cascade.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
There were 95 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Kharkiv direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces regained lost positions near Lyptsi and pushed Russian forces from positions towards Strilecha – Hlyboke. However, the enemy continues attempts to break through to Lyptsi. Battles occurred near Hlyboke, Lukyantsi, and Neskuchne.
Russian forces continued their offensive near Vovchansk, with infantry assaulting the town. However, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are gradually pushing the enemy out of the city. Fighting also continued near Starytsya.
On the Kupyansk direction, the 26th Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division, 1st Tank Army, advanced to the southeastern outskirts of Ivanivka. The enemy is attempting to capture Berestove, advancing south of Ivanivka, north of Kyslivka, in the areas of Kotlyarivka, and closer to Stepova Novoselivka. They continued offensive actions in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Myasozharivka, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, and Druzhelyubivka.
On the Lyman direction, Russian forces continued their offensive in the areas of Nevske, Terny, Torske, Serebriansk Forest, and Bilohorivka.
On the Siversk Direction, Russian forces advanced in the area of Verkhnyokamianske.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces captured a dormitory and several multi-story buildings, continuing to advance along Zelena Street in the "Kanal" neighborhood in the eastern part of Chasiv Yar. They continued assaults in the areas of Bohdanivka, Kalynivka; in the "Novyi" neighborhood, near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, units of the 9th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, 1st Army Corps, made minor advances in the western part of Netaylove. The enemy assaulted the outskirts of Novooleksandrivka, advanced southwest of Solovyove, west of Umanske, and secured positions on the outskirts of Novopokrovske. Russian forces continued offensives in the areas of Arkhanhelske, Kalynove, Sokil, Berdychi, Semenivka, Yasnobrodivka, and Nevelske.
On the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces made minor advances in central Krasnohorivka, near Paraskoviivka, and continued offensives in the areas of Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Kostyantynivka, and Vodyane.
On the Vremivka direction, Russian forces continued assaults near Volodymyrivka, Urozhaine, and Staromayorske.
On the Orikhiv Direction, positional battles occurred near Robotyne, Verbove, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka. Elements of the 19th Motorized Rifle Division, 58th Combined Arms Army, attacked Ukrainian positions on the Vasylivka direction.
On the Prydniprovskiy direction, positional battles continued on the eastern bank of Kherson Oblast, including near Krynky. The Ukrainian Defense Forces maintain a tactical bridgehead in Krynky, but logistical support across the Dnipro River is challenging. Units of "Odesa" OSG also hold positions on the islands of Milkyi and Frolova in the Dnipro delta.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Black Sea: 2 ships.
The enemy has relocated two unfinished small missile ships from a shipyard in Crimea to the Caspian Sea.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
Units of the 138th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 6th Combined Arms Army continue to operate in Vovchansk.
Units of the 752nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Combined Arms Army are active near Novoyehorivka.
The paramilitary formation "Sever-V Reconnaissance and Assault Brigade" of the Russian Volunteer Corps is advancing near Chasiv Yar.
Escalation indicators:
The enemy is increasing the number of its troops to 50,000-75,000 along the state border on the Siversk direction.
Possible operation situation developments:
On the Sumy direction, the enemy grouping is stationed in concentration areas. The 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 44th Army Corps is concentrating in the Graivoron area (information is being verified). Sudzha – Sumy and Graivoron – Velyka Pysarivka could be the likely directions of its actions.
The enemy's possible objective on the Kharkiv direction could involve advancing towards Lyptsi and reaching the Slobozhanske – Vesele line. Following the capture of Vovchansk, they may deploy a development echelon (up to 7 motorized rifle battalions and 1 tank battalion from the 44th Army Corps) to move to the Buhaiivka – Bilyi Kolodyaz – Prykolotne – Vilkhuvatka line. The subsequent offensive by the 6th Combined Arms Army, the 44th Army Corps, and elements of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army could then aim to reach the Pervomaiske – Velykyi Burluk – Hryhorivka – Odradne line.
The Russian military command may redeploy the 7th and 76th Air Assault Divisions from the Robotyne area to the Luhansk, Kherson Oblasts in Ukraine or Kursk Oblast in Russia.
The "Center" Operational Grouping command is focused on executing the following operational plan: to establish conditions for the blockade and encirclement of the Kurakhove area or to create advantageous circumstances for launching an offensive operation to encircle "Tavriya" OSG’s defense in Toretsk area from the south.
The enemy's capture of Keramik, Novokalynove, and Arkhanhelske, along with their breakthrough east of Novooleksandrivka and the displacement of the “Tavriya” OSG from this area, does not secure the flanks of the 30th and 35th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 41st Combined Arms Army. The situation requires the enemy's “Tsentr” Operational Grouping to advance to the Sokol-Novopokrovske line and clear the area between Novooleksandrivka and Arkhanhelske.
Expect counterattacks from “Tavriya” OSG in the Sokil-Ocheretyne direction, which poses a threat of defeating the 35th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 41st Combined Arms Army and the 433rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 27th Motorized Rifle Division of the 2nd Combined Arms Army, advancing on Novooleksandrivka.
