Operational situation
On the Kursk direction, Russian forces attacked near Zhuravka, in the areas of Sverdlivkovo, Nikolskiy, Malaya Loknia, Pogrebki, Cherkasskya Konopelka, and Fanaseevka. The 51st and 137th Airborne Regiments of the 106th Airborne Division advanced on the western outskirts of Lebedevka.
The "Siversk" Operational Tactical Group (OTG) counterattacked along the H07 highway from Yunakivka to Sudzha.
On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces conducted offensive operations in the area of Vovchansk.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces advanced in the areas of Zakhidne, Dvorichna, Fyholivka, Petropavlivka, near Zahryzove, toward Novoplatonivka, Borivska, Andriivka, and Bohuslavka, near Kopanky, toward Shyivka, near Novoyehorivka, in the direction of Cherneshchyna, and are engaged in battles for Topoli.
Ukrainian Defense forces hold several positions in Dvorichna.
On the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked toward Zelena Dolyna, near Novolyubivka, Yampolivka, Torske, toward Nove, and in the areas of Kuzmyne and the Serebriansk Forest.
On the Siversk direction, Russian forces conducted offensive actions in the areas of Bilohorivka and Ivano-Dariivka, attempting to advance north of Ivano-Dariivka, south of Fedorivka, near Verkhnyokamianske, and west of Bilohorivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces hold certain positions in Bilohorivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces conducted offensive actions near Chasiv Yar, toward Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Stupochky, and Predtechyne, advancing along the T0504 highway from Chasiv Yar to Kostyantynivka, east of Chasiv Yar. They attempted to advance south of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, north of Zaliznyanske, and northwest of Kalynivka.

On the Toretsk direction, Russian forces conducted offensive battles near Toretsk and in the area of Krymske.
On the Pokrovsk direction Russian forces continued their offensive north of Pokrovsk, in the areas of Vodyane Druhe, Promin, the T0504 highway junction from Pokrovsk to Kostyantynivka, near Myroliubivka, Leontovychi, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Nadiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoserhiyivka, Slovyanka, Troitske, Uspenivka, Zaporizke, and Yasenove. They advanced north of Shevchenkove along the T0515 highway from Pokrovsk to Andriivka and attempted to advance from Vodyane Druhe toward Tarasivka, near Udachne, toward Preobrazhenka and Bohdanivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue counterattacks south and southwest of Pokrovsk.
On the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces continued their advance in the areas of Andriivka, Konstyantynopil, and Ulakly, attempting to advance on the eastern outskirts of Konstyantynopil, east of Oleksiivka, and north of Rozdolne.
On the Huliaypole direction, Russian forces continued attacks in the areas of Novoocheretuvate, Skudne, Dniproenerhiya, Burlatske, Novosilka, and Novopil, advancing northwest of Vremivka and attempting to advance northwest of Velyka Novosilka, south of Novosilka, and east of Pryvilne.
On the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces advanced near Stepove, Shcherbaky, Kamianske, and Pyatykhatky, periodically attacking from the direction of Robotyne and along the T0803 highway from Novofedorivka to Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces advanced toward Sadove.
General conclusion:
Russian forces have intensified missile and air strikes on Pokrovsk.
On the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces amass personnel and attempt to bring in heavy combat equipment but do not conduct active offensive operations yet. The Russian military command does not consider this direction a priority.

There were 92 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an enemy assault near Vovchansk.
On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched 11 assaults on Defense Forces’ positions in the areas of Petropavlivka and Zahryzove. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 8 attacks.
On the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked 6 times near Zelena Dolyna, Borivska Andriivka, Novolyubivka, Dibrova, and Katerynivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, a battle took place near Stupochky.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian Defense Forces’ positions 10 times, focusing their main offensive efforts near Toretsk and Krymske.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defense 27 times near Vodyane Druhe, Promin, Pokrovsk, Leontovychi, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Nadiivka, Troitske, Andriivka, Tarasivka, and Ulakly.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked 13 times near Konstyantynopil and Burlatske.
On the Huliaypole direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an attack near Novopil. Huliaypole was hit by an air strike.
On the Orikhiv Direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, attacked in the direction of Kamianske.
On the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks toward Sadove.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
Mediterranean Sea: 4 ships, including 3 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 26 cruise missiles.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
The 119th Airborne Regiment of the 106th Airborne Division operates near Sverdlivkovo.
The 41st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 72nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 44th Army Corps operates in Kharkiv Oblast.
Possible operation situation developments:
Once the enemy sufficiently expands its bridgeheads on the Chornyi Zherebets River, the 25th Army, with forces of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division and the 164th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, will sharply intensify actions toward Torske and Yampolivka. This will mark the second stage of pushing "Khortytsia" OSG out of the bridgehead east of the Chornyi Zherebets River on the Lyman direction.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy command is finalizing the deployment of the 8th Combined Arms Army within the operational zone of the 51st Combined Arms Army and is expected to launch an operation shortly, aiming to break through toward the area south and west of Kostyantynivka.
The operational plan of the 8th Combined Arms Army on the Kostyantynivka direction is to envelop the tactical group of the "Khortytsia" OSG, which is defending south of Kostyantynivka between Oleksandropil and Tarasivka from the flanks. The enemy aims to encircle and destroy this group or, if unable to do so, force it to withdraw from the area south of Kostyantynivka in a northwestern direction under the threat of encirclement. The ultimate goal of these actions is a two-pronged breakthrough from the southwest and southeast toward the area of Stepanivka – Berestok – Pleshchiivka – Yablunivka, followed by a simultaneous assault on Kostyantynivka from this area and from the direction of Chasiv Yar.
After the first stage (reaching the Poltavka–Pleshchiivka line), the enemy’s 3rd Combined Arms Army, reinforced by an airborne forces group, will attempt a rapid breakthrough from the bridgehead on the Siverskyi Donets–Donbas canal in the Chasiv Yar area, advancing from the northeast toward Kostyantynivka.

Humanitarian + general:
On the night of February 25, Russian occupiers launched seven cruise missiles and 213 Shahed-type and other drones at Ukraine. As of 11:00, six Kh-101 cruise missiles and 133 attack drones had been confirmed shot down. Seventy-nine enemy decoy drones were lost location-wise (without negative consequences). Kyiv Oblast and Zhytomyr Oblast were affected by the enemy attack.
As a result of the night drone attack in Obukhivskyi District of Kyiv Oblast, a woman was injured, and a private house and farm buildings were partially destroyed. In Fastivskyi District, private houses were reported damaged.
Three people, including two children, were injured, and a residential house and farm building were destroyed due to a Russian attack in Zhytomyr Oblast.
After 4:00 a.m. on February 25, explosions were heard in Sumy. Later, it was reported that a Shahed drone had struck, damaging several apartment buildings and injuring two people.
On the morning of February 25, Russian forces attacked a border village in Semenivska community in Chernihiv Oblast with unguided aerial rockets, injuring a local resident and damaging a residential house.
At 12:30, Russian aviation launched five KAB strikes on Zolochivska community in Kharkiv Oblast. Two guided aerial bombs hit, injuring two women and damaging residential buildings.
Around 14:20, Russians struck the private sector of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast, killing one person and injuring 16 others, including four children. People may still be trapped under the rubble.
Russians attacked the village of Stanislav in Kherson Oblast with a drone, injuring a woman and a man.
In the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz in Chuhuivskyi District, an enemy FPV drone hit a civilian car during the day on February 25. The 62-year-old driver was killed. A 53-year-old passenger suffered multiple injuries and was hospitalized.
Over the past day, Russians carried out 70 attacks on the border areas of Sumy Oblast, killing two people and injuring five others. A total of 169 explosions were recorded.
In Kherson, evening shelling of residential areas in Dniprovskyi District on February 24 injured five adults and a 15-year-old girl.
The National Police recorded 108 locations where Ukrainians were unlawfully detained in occupied and de-occupied territories by Russian forces.
Three years after the full-scale invasion, the total cost of reconstruction and recovery in Ukraine stands at $524 billion over the next decade, which is 2.8 times Ukraine's nominal GDP for 2024. This data comes from the Ukrainian government, the World Bank, the European Commission, and the United Nations.
In Ukraine, total losses in the agricultural sector due to Russia's full-scale invasion are estimated at around $80 billion, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. This figure includes not only direct losses but also indirect ones such as disrupted logistics, land reclamation, demining or land loss, rising fertilizer and fuel costs, and more.
