Operational situation
On the Kursk direction, Russian forces reached the northern outskirts of Sverdlivkovo, advanced on the southern outskirts of Makhnovka, are fighting for Maryivka, and are attempting to advance in the areas of Malaya Loknia, Nikolskiy, Viktorovka, and Kurilovka. They are trying to reach the line of Malaya Loknia–the Loknia River, capture Sverdlivkovo and Lebedevka to gain control of the “Siversk” OTG’s supply routes.
On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces attacked near Lyptsi and Vovchansk but made no progress.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces advanced near Dvorichna, west of Zapadne, west of Zahryzove, north of Makiivka, and to the southern outskirts of Topoli. They attacked near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Zelenyi Hai, Kopanky, and Novoyehorivka.

On the Lyman direction, Russian forces attempted to advance west of Ivanivka and attacked in the areas of Yampolivka and Torske.
On the Siversk direction, Russian forces attacked in the areas of Bilohorivka and Ivano-Dariivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces advanced south of Chasiv Yar and attacked near Vasyukivka, toward Novomarkove, and near Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces regained lost positions in the western part of Shcherbynivka.
Russian forces advanced south of Toretsk and attacked near Krymske, Dyliivka, Leonidivka, and Shcherbynivka. The enemy is clearing Krymske. Fighting continues near the Toretsk mine.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces captured Kotlyne, are fighting for Tymofiivka, and advanced within and south of Udachne, in the southern part of Nadiivka, in the southern part of Novoandriivka, southwest and north of Novoandriivka, south of Ukrainka, north of Vozdvyzhenka, north of Novokalynove, north of Arkhanhelske, and to the outskirts of Zelenyi Pol. They attacked near Pokrovsk, close to Vodyane Druhe, Baranivka, Promin, Vozdvyzhenka, Yelyzavetivka, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Zelenyi, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Sribne, Novoyelyzavetivka, and Kotlyne.

On the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces advanced southeast of Rozlyv, entered the eastern outskirts of Andriivka, advanced to the eastern and southern outskirts of Dachne and the area south of Dachne, advanced between Petropavlivka and Shevchenkove, northwest of Shevchenkove, and attacked in the areas of Slovyanka, Dachne, Konstyantynopil, Ulakly, Andriivka, Zelenivka, and Yantarne.
On the Vremivka direction, the 5th Separate Tank Brigade of the 36th Army advanced in the eastern and central parts of Velyka Novosilka along Fontanna and Yuri Gagarin Streets, surrounded Ukrainian units in the southern part of Velyka Novosilka, attempted to advance north of Rozdolne, southwest of Novyi Komar, and attacked in the area of Novodarivka.
On the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces continued attacks in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.
General conclusion:
The enemy is attempting to advance in the southwest direction in Chasiv Yar, moving toward Shevchenkove, Shop No. 2, Yuzhne, and Zemlyanky, bypassing the pond complex on the western outskirts of the city.
The enemy is trying to push northward from Toretsk, moving to link up with forces operating on the Kramatorsk direction near Oleksandro-Shultyne.
Russian forces attempt to bypass Pokrovsk from the north and south, beginning to strike the city with long-range weapons. Near Novoyelyzavetivka, the enemy is attacking westward and has reached a position 10 km from the administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacks in the areas of Dachne and Zelenivka, attempting to encircle Ukrainian Defense Forces units in this area.

On the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted twice to breach Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk.
On the Kupyansk direction, there were 14 enemy attacks near Pishchane, Dvorichna, Hlushkivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Zelenyi Hai, and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times, attempting to penetrate defenses near the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Novolyubivka, Kopanky, Zelena Dolyna, and Torske.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers launched 43 attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Stupochky, Vasyukivka, Novomarkove, and Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske, Dyliivka, Leonidivka, and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces halted 88 enemy assault actions toward the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Baranivka, Myrolyubivka, Myrnohrad, Shevchenko, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelenyi, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novoyelyzavetivka, Uspenivka, Sribne, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly, and Yantarne.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out three attacks toward Konstyantynopil over the past day.
On the Orikhiv direction, occupation forces launched four assaults on Ukrainian Defense Forces positions in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.
On the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces make efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory and successfully repelled three enemy offensive actions.
Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in Kursk Oblast, repelling 14 enemy assaults.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.

The 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Army operates in Tymofiivka.
Possible operation situation developments:
The enemy command's plan for the Southwestern Theater of Military Operations during the winter campaign of 2025 may include an operation to capture Pokrovsk and the final occupation of Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, and Vovchansk. Another possible course of action could be the occupation of Kupyansk or simultaneous actions in several directions.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the "Khortytsia" OSG units will be forced to retreat to the Kostyantynivka area if the enemy reaches the Chervone–Stupochky line and simultaneously launches an offensive northward at the junction of its 41st and 51st Combined Arms Armies from the Novooleksandrivka–Arkhanhelske line, advancing to the Yablunivka–Oleksandro-Kalynove line on the Toretsk direction.
The further enemy actions on the Novopavlivka direction will aim to prevent the consolidation of "Khortytsia" OSG units in the Rozlyv–Konstyantynopil–Andriivka–Ulakly area. The Russian military command is likely to simultaneously intensify pressure with forces from the 90th Tank Division and increase efforts in the operational zone of "Vostok (East)" Operational Grouping. Troops from the 8th Combined Arms Army (20th and 150th Motorized Rifle Divisions) of the "Yug (South)" Operational Grouping are expected to participate in these actions, with some units likely being redeployed after the withdrawal of the "Khortytsia" OSG from the remaining positions at the Kurakhove bridgehead.

Humanitarian + general:
Ukrainian forces confirmed the downing of two Russian guided aviation missiles (Kh-59/69) and 46 attack UAVs during the night of January 25. In total, the enemy launched two guided aviation missiles and 61 attack UAVs. Additionally, 15 enemy drones were "locationally lost."
As a result of a Russian attack during the night of January 25 in a town in Kyiv Oblast, a nine-story residential building was damaged, and a fire broke out at an enterprise in another area. Five people were rescued from the damaged residential building, and a child was injured.
In Cherkasy, during a nighttime attack by enemy UAVs, an explosion wave damaged an apartment building and several private houses.
Early on Saturday morning, Russian forces attacked the territory of the Khotin community in Sumy Oblast with guided aerial bombs, with four explosions recorded.
In Kherson, around 10:00, a 36-year-old man was injured due to an attack by a Russian drone.
On January 25, the occupiers struck the Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv with drones. Four impacts were recorded, and three people were reported injured.
The Russian army struck the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on Saturday using artillery and kamikaze drones, injuring two people. Damage was reported to three apartment buildings, two private houses, an industrial enterprise, and an unused building.
As of today, all children have been evacuated from frontline Pokrovsk. Seven thousand people remain in the city, with 10,000 in the entire community.
The exact number of people killed by the occupiers in Mariupol remains unknown. To cover up evidence of their crimes, the Russians have initiated active "reconstruction" of the city, similar to their approach in Grozny, President Zelensky said.
At the entrance to the bridge over the Kerch Strait from the side of Russia's Krasnodar Krai, comprehensive passport control has been introduced. According to Crimea's occupation transport minister, Oleksandr Ovdiienko, the justification for this measure includes the heightened response level in Crimea and Krasnodar Krai, the decision by the Temryuk District's Anti-Terrorism Commission, and the order from Krasnodar Krai's governor to implement an indefinite "yellow" level of terrorist threat in the region, Temryuk District, and the Kerch Bridge.
