General conclusion:
The enemy launched a missile strike on the city of Dnipro using a RS-26 "Rubezh" medium-range ballistic missile.
Russian forces are successfully advancing in the direction of Kurakhove as they effectively combine ground operations with air and artillery support.
Russian forces may attempt to bypass the eastern flank of Ukrainian positions in Velyka Novosilka and intensify pressure on Velyka Novosilka from the south to force Ukrainian Defense Forces units to withdraw from the village, enabling further advancement toward the southwestern edge of Donetsk Oblast.
Statements by the Russian military-political leadership about the use of the latest "Oreshnik" missile system should be considered part of a strategic PSYOP.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):

On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced along the railway tracks on the eastern outskirts of Petrivka, near Pustynka, west of Novooleksiivka, and tried to advance northwest of Yuryivka and from Novooleksiivka toward Pushkyne and Ukrainka. They continued assaults near Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kruty Yar, Krasnyi Yar, Dachenske, Petrivka, Yuryivka, Hryhorivka, Pushkyne, Zhovte, Chumatske, Pustynka, and Novooleksiivka.
On the Kurakhove direction, the 102nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division, of the 8th Combined Arms Army, captured Dalnie. Russian forces advanced in the fields south of Kurakhove, moved into the central part of Sontsivka, cleared the northern bank of the Kurakhove reservoir, and advanced near the elevator in central Kurakhove and south of Maksymilianivka. They continued assaults in the areas of Sontsivka, Zorya, Berestky, Kurakhove, Maksymilianivka, and Dalnie.
On the Vremivka direction, “Tavriya” OSG units advanced in the fields north of Bohoyavlenka.
Russian forces advanced north of Antonivka, from Maksymivka toward Konstyantynopolske and Sukhi Yaly, to the eastern outskirts of Velyka Novosilka, along the O0510 Kurakhove–Velyka Novosilka highway, and in the fields east of Velyka Novosilka near Rozdolne, Novodonetske, Rivnopil, and Trudove. They focus strikes around Antonivka, indicating an effort to break through and advance along the C051104 highway.
The enemy attacked near Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Antonivka, Trudove, Sukhi Yaly, Konstyantynopolske, Rozlyv, and near Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka, Novodaryivka, and east of Bohoyavlenka. They storm from Shakhtarske toward Rozdolne and Velyka Novosilka and attempt to outflank the village from the north.
The 5th Tank Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army and the 40th Separate Marines Brigade of the Pacific Fleet have reached the outskirts of Rozdolne. The 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army advanced toward Blahodatne.

In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Black Sea: 28 ships, including 6 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 23 cruise missiles.
Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 16 cruise missiles.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
The military contingent of the Korean People's Army (KPA) in Russia is training jointly with the Marine Corps and Airborne Forces. The 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade is forming a special "Buryat Battalion," primarily staffed with North Korean soldiers for combat operations in Kursk Oblast.
The 26th Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army and the 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade operate near Martynovka (northeast of Sudzha).
The 16th Separate SOF Brigade is active in Kharkiv Oblast. The 1009th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Combined Arms Army is engaged in combat near Vovchansk.
To the east of Pereyizne (south of Siversk), operations are being conducted by the 88th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 3rd Combined Arms Army.
Possible operation situation developments:
The troops of the 20th Combined Arms Army will be used by the command of the enemy's "Zapad (West)" Operational Grouping on the flanks of its operational zone to facilitate the offensives of the 1st Tank Army and the 25th Combined Arms Army on the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, respectively. The redeployment of part of the forces of the 20th Army to the operational zones of the 1st Tank Army and the 25th Army is likely.
If the enemy manages to advance to the Chervone–Stupochky line on the Kramatorsk direction and simultaneously begins intensive northward attacks at the junction of its 41st and 51st Armies from the Novooleksandrivka–Arkhanhelske line, reaching the Yablunivka–Oleksandro-Kalynove line on the Toretsk direction, then the "Khortytsia" OSG will be forced to withdraw towards Kostyantynivka.
Before the end of November “Tavriya” OSG will withdraw from its positions along the Yelyzavetivka–Konstyantynopil line, Kurakhove, and the northern bank of the Kurakhove Reservoir to avoid encirclement.
After capturing Kurakhove, the forces of the enemy's "Yug (South)" Operational Grouping will focus on seizing Velyka Novosilka, which may occur in January 2025 following regrouping and replenishment of losses.
By the end of the current year, the enemy will not succeed in seizing the "belt of fortresses" Kostyantynivka – Druzhkivka – Kramatorsk – Sloviansk or occupying Donetsk Oblast. The upcoming battle for Pokrovsk will mark the apex of the enemy’s offensive operation in the Southwestern Theater of Operations in 2024.
The expected sequence of enemy actions for capturing Pokrovsk is as follows: first, the 90th Tank Division of the 41st Combined Arms Army and the 27th Motorized Rifle Division of the 2nd Combined Arms Army will break through to the area south of Pokrovsk. Afterward, the main forces of the 2nd and 41st Combined Arms Armies will advance from the direction of Mykolaivka toward Myrnohrad (via Promin). Another possible maneuver could involve an advance from Hrodivka toward Novoekonomichne, with attempts to break through along the railway directly to Pokrovsk from the direction of Novohrodivka.
The enemy's military command in the theater of operations until March 2025 will be creating conditions to achieve the military-political goal of the Special Military Operation: reaching the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts and the junction of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk Oblasts near the village of Temyrivka.

During Russian shelling on the night of November 16 and early morning of November 17, four electrical substations deemed critical for nuclear safety by the IAEA were damaged at three operational nuclear power plants: Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, and Yuznoukrainska NPPs. These facilities require a stable connection to the national energy system to transmit generated electricity and receive external power for critical nuclear safety functions.
As of now, 934 residential buildings, 11 healthcare institutions (including Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 16, which operates a stationary facility), 43 educational institutions, and a territorial social protection center in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, remain without heating. In the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast, the occupiers registered 263 children this year as “unreliable,” including 16 labeled as “extremists.” According to the National Resistance Center under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, these are mostly children with pro-Ukrainian views.
Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories coerce Ukrainians to become blood donors for the Russian army, reports the National Resistance Center. In occupied Mariupol, mandatory donor quotas are being imposed on educators, utility workers, and citizens receiving “subsidies.” Those failing to meet the “quota” risk losing payments. In the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson Oblast, collaborators systematically organize public sector workers to donate blood, using a mobile blood collection unit that travels across district centers.
