Ukrainian Defense Forces hold positions in the building of the Pokrovsk City Council, operate in the northwest and north of Pokrovsk, cleared the enemy in the north of the city, secured a logistics route and operate along the railway, secured and hold positions in Rodynske, and counterattacked near Hryshyne, Rodynske, Sukhetske, and Zatyshok.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, forward units of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army tried to build on their success near Novosilka, attempting to advance north of it across the Vovcha River to outflank Oleksandrohrad held by Ukrainian Defense Forces and repelled enemy attacks on it from the direction of Voskresenka.
In the south, assault groups of the 57th or 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade successfully advance in the interfluve of the Vovcha and Yanchur rivers and reached the Novooleksandrivka – Oleksiivka line, consolidated east of Yehorivka, where fighting continues. Units of the 5th and 36th Combined Arms Armies operating on their adjacent flank also achieved tactical success in the direction Yehorivka – Danylivka.
In the sector of the 5th Combined Arms Army, the enemy successfully attacks on a wide front. Its 127th Motorized Rifle Division, units of the 69th Separate Reconnaissance Brigade, and the 38th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade advanced from the east on a wide front to the Yanchur River and crossed it in multiple locations. The enemy captured Uspenivka on its western bank and, developing its advance further west, reached the Solodke – Rivnopillya line. The aggressor advanced 1.5 km from Uspenivka southwest, along the Huliaypole – Velyka Novosilka road and in the direction Malynivka – Zelenyi Hai.
Russian troops tried to advance to Havrylivka from Filiya, northwest of Orestopil, southwest of Yehorivka, advance south and east of Novopavlivka, attacked near Novomykolayivka, Yalta, Dachne, Zelenyi Hai, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Oleksandrivka, Sichneve, Stepove, Sosnivka, Verbove, Zlahoda; units of the 5th Separate Tank Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army infiltrated through Tsehelne and Yehorivka to Danylivka.

Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked near Prymorske and Stepnohirsk, struck the fuel and lubricant depot in Berdyansk, and the forward command post of the 127th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 5th Army.
On the Prydniprovske direction, Russian troops continued local attacks near the Antonivskyi bridge but did not advance.
General conclusion:
On the Kupyansk direction, enemy attacks near Oleksandrivka and Korovyi Yar are aimed at cutting Ukrainian Defense Forces’ logistics route through Rubtsi, which will complicate their defense on the Borova direction overall. The enemy advanced to a line 10 km from Rubtsi.
In the Kupyansk area, Russian forces are increasing the intensity of assaults, using fiber-optic UAVs to attack logistics routes, forcing Ukrainian forces to use field roads and river crossings, attempting to infiltrate through Ukrainian positions and bypass the Ukrainian kill zone.
On the Slovyansk direction, Russian forces continue using small-group infiltration tactics and attacking on motorcycles.
The enemy’s tactical successes near the Kleban-Byk reservoir create conditions for an offensive on Kostyantynivka in the winter of 2025–2026, which aligns with the priority of capturing Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
Russian forces continue advancing on the Pokrovsk direction, attempting to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad while advancing through Rodynske; the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces continues counterattacks. The enemy controls areas in Pokrovsk south of the railway; heavy fighting continues in the north of the city.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy has increased the pace of advance of its forward units in recent weeks and has a significant advantage in forces and means in the sector of the 5th Combined Arms Army. The enemy is rapidly and effectively consolidating with the main forces of its first-echelon units on those areas where its assault groups have advanced. Russian forces are very close to completing the envelopment of the entire Huliaypole defensive area from the north and, after capturing Pokrovske, will move to assault it.
The enemy’s months-long campaign of airstrikes on the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ logistics on the Huliaypole and Oleksandrivka directions, including roads, highways, and railway lines, as well as the general deterioration of weather conditions, contributed to the aggressor’s tactical successes.
Russian forces continue advancing and have intensified their offensive on the Huliaypole and Oleksandrivka directions, continuing their advance toward Huliaypole and the T0401 Pokrovske–Huliaypole highway, the main logistics route of Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Huliaypole defensive area. The enemy advanced near Solodke, Yablukove, and Vesele and reached a line 9 km northeast and east of Huliaypole. The occupiers are further infiltrating north toward Danylivka along the T0401 highway. The 5th Combined Arms Army and the main forces of the 36th Combined Arms Army attempt to isolate and potentially encircle Huliaypole from the northeast. Although it is uncertain when or if the adversary will accomplish these operational objectives, conditions are deteriorating for the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Huliaypole direction.

Changes in the enemy disposition:
The 20th NBC Protection Brigade operates in Sumy Oblast.
The 121st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division of the 6th Combined Arms Army operates in Kupyansk.
The 252nd Motorized Rifle Regiment, the 237th Tank Regiment of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Combined Arms Army, and the 27th NBC Protection Brigade operate on the Lyman direction.
The 1st Volunteer Reconnaissance-Assault Brigade of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” operates on the Slovyansk direction.
The 57th Separate SOF Company of the 8th Combined Arms Army strikes Ukrainian forces near Nove and in Nove Shakhove; the 238th Artillery Brigade of the army operates in the area of Shakhove; units of the “Rubikon” Advanced UAV Technologies Center strike Ukrainian forces near Hryshyne.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, on a 41 km front, the enemy’s “Vostok (East)” Operational Grouping conducts an offensive operation consisting of the 5th Combined Arms Army (127th Motorized Rifle Division, 57th, 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades), the 36th Combined Arms Army (37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, 5th Separate Tank Brigade), the 35th Combined Arms Army (38th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, 69th Separate Reconnaissance Brigade). The grouping is reinforced by 5–6 Motorized Rifle Regiments. The “Vostok (East)” Operational Grouping numbers 105–110 thousand personnel, up to 270 tanks, 420–450 armored combat vehicles, 350 guns and mortars, and over 150 MLRS. The arrival of the 98th Airborne Division on the direction is being clarified. The involvement of parts of the 41st Combined Arms Army and the reserves of the 58th Combined Arms Army in the sectors of the 5th and 36th Combined Arms Armies is possible.
The 135th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 19th Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Combined Arms Army operates near Stepnohirsk.
The 61st Separate Marine Brigade strikes Ukrainian positions near Kherson; the artillery of the 98th Airborne Division operates on the eastern bank of Kherson Oblast.
Possible operation situation developments:
The Defense Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry assesses that while the enemy is unlikely to capture all of Donetsk Oblast by the end of 2025, it may reach the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia and the Sloviansk–Kramatorsk area by early winter. Additionally, if current fighting continues at the same pace, the enemy could possibly take control of Pokrovsk, Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, and Kupyansk no earlier than year’s end.
On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy’s 6th Army troops will attempt to bypass Kupyansk as deeply as possible in the general direction of the Chuhuiv– Kupyansk highway and will fight for the area of Mala Shapkivka–Velyka Shapkivka–Kindrashivka–Tyshchenkivka.
On the Lyman direction, the troops of the enemy’s 20th Combined Arms Army will attempt to reach the Siverskyi Donets River along the widest possible front, cut all main routes that do not cross the river, and block the town of Lyman from the northwest, for which they will advance toward the area of Yarova–Novoselivka–Drobysheve–Pryshyb. Ukrainian Defense Forces’ 11th Army Corps will continue to defend along the Novoselivka–Stavky line.
The enemy’s “Yug (South)” Operational Grouping will attack in the directions of Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka and Druzhkivka, attempting to cut the H20 highway Kostyantynivka–Sloviansk, which will complicate the logistics of the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ 19th Army Corps in Kostyantynivka. The enemy will deliver concentric strikes simultaneously from Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, the Kleban-Byk Reservoir, and from the Poltavka–Novoolenivka line.
In the Dobropillya area, troops of the 51st Combined Arms Army will be pushing Ukrainian Defense Forces out of the Sofiivka – Volodymyrivka – Pankivka – Shakhove area. The command of the “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Grouping will attempt to envelop the Pokrovsk defense area of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from the flanks, break through on the left flank of the 2nd Combined Arms Army to the road to Pavlohrad and in the center of the 51st Combined Arms Army’s offensive strip to the area north of Pokrovsk. Units of the 1st, 110th, 114th, and 39th Separate Motorized rifle Brigades of the 51st Army will make maximum efforts to hold the area of Zatyshok–Fedorivka–Razyne–Krasnyi Lyman (size 7 by 5 km). The enemy’s 40th, 155th, and 61st Separate Marine Brigades and the 177th Separate Marine Regiment will attack Shakhove and Sofiivka.
The forward units of the enemy’s 2nd Combined Arms Army will attempt to advance from the Pokrovsk industrial zone in a north-eastern direction toward Rodynske and the T-shaped intersection of roads to Dobropillya and Hryshyne to encircle elements of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of Ukrainian Defense Forces in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
The intention of the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ command to completely eliminate the 51st Army’s bridgehead on the Kazennyi Torets River will be extremely difficult to implement in practice. Further defense of Myrnohrad, or at least its southern part, appears questionable. The Defense Forces command will attempt to eliminate the enemy’s northeastern flank of the bridgehead and push elements of the 51st Army back beyond the Kazennyi Torets River in the directions Sukhetske–Razyne and Sukhetske–Fedorivka. At the same time, the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Defense Forces will hold the northern part of Pokrovsk and clear the industrial zone.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the main operational-tactical objective of the command of the enemy’s “Vostok (East)” Operational Grouping is to envelop the Huliaypole defensive area from the north and block its main lines of communication, primarily from the Pokrovske side. The enemy will try to break through to the Khaychur River and to the Huliaypole–Pokrovske road on the Dobropillya–Varvarivka section and will attempt to reach Pokrovske directly from the southeast with the forces of the 36th Combined Arms Army and the right flank of the 5th Combined Arms Army.
On the Orikhiv direction, the “Dnepr” Operational Grouping will attempt to break through along the left bank of the Dnipro River from the Plavni – Kamianske line toward Stepnohirsk and from the Stepove – Mali Shcherbaky line in the northern direction.
On the Prydniprovske direction, the command of the enemy’s “Dnepr” Operational Grouping will continue trying to take control of most of the island zone in the Dnipro delta in the direction of Kherson, will try to create a tactical bridgehead on the right bank, and to eliminate the tactical bridgeheads of the 30th Marine Corps of Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of the automobile and railway bridges near Antonivka.
