On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops tried to advance west of Synelnykove, and attacked in the direction of Slobozhanske, Odradne, in the western part of Vovchansk, and near Khatnie and Ambarne.
Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked near Synelnykove and on the left bank of the Vovcha River in Vovchansk.
The front line between Khatnie and Milove is dynamic and changes daily.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops attacked near Kupyansk, Doroshivka, Holubivka, Fiholivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Hrekivka, and in the direction of Kutkivka and Nova Kruhlyakivka.

On the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops advanced in the northwest of Tovste, in the northwest of Novomykolayivka, tried to break through to the southern part of Filiya, to advance west of Sosnivka and Ternove, and to the eastern outskirts of Berezove, and attacked Novopavlivka, near Muravka, Dachne, Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, Maliivka, Novomykolayivka, Zaporizke, and in the direction of Ivanivka.

General conclusion:
Russian troops try to advance through a gas pipeline from the forest near Lyman Pershyi and emerge near Radkivka, from where they will attack in the direction of Kupyansk and the adjacent railway line. The enemy is accumulating on the northern outskirts of Kupyansk but cannot enter the city. Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the gas pipeline and stopped this maneuver.
Russian troops along the northern border of the Sumy Oblast have lost their offensive capabilities and have suffered tangible losses.
On the Lyman direction, Russian troops use loitering UAVs, which complicates Ukrainian logistics. The enemy has improved the camouflage of tanks when providing fire support for assault groups.
In the Kostyantynivka – Druzhkivka area, Russian troops are increasing the intensity of guided aerial bomb airstrikes and struck Sofiivka with 20 airstrikes in a single day.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the marine infantry brigades redeployed here from the Northern Slobozhansky direction were committed to battle and attack in small groups.
On the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops attack with small assault groups whose actions are controlled by barrier detachments that prevent their withdrawal. The enemy is trying to break through to the outskirts of Mala Tokmachka and emerge in the Ukrainian rear. The enemy usually attacks at night.
Russian troops intensively shelled the city of Kherson over the past three weeks and have increased the use of "Molniya" UAVs throughout the entire direction.

There were 184 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, 3 combat engagements occurred.
On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, 14 combat engagements occurred in the areas of Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Fiholivka, and in the direction of Khatnie and Odradne.
On the Kupyansk direction, 11 enemy attacks occurred. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of Myrne and Stepova Novoselivka, and in the direction of Kupyansk, Nova Kruhlyakivka, and Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times, tried to advance in the areas of Shandryholove, Kolodyazi, Hrekivka, and Zarichne, and toward Stavky.
On the Siversk direction, the enemy conducted 22 attacks in the areas of Serebrianka and Hryhorivka, and in the direction of Yampil and Dronivka.
On the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy conducted 12 attacks in the areas of Bila Hora, Kleban-Byk, Katerynivka, Poltavka, and Rusyn Yar, and toward Stupochky, Pleshchiivka, and Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, 52 Russian offensive actions were stopped in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Rodynske, Mykolaivka, Myrolyubivka, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, Novomykolayivka, Novopidhorodnie, Molodetske, and Shakhove, and toward Novopavlivka and Filiya.
On the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 41 attacks near Oleksandrohrad, Ternove, Voskresenka, Maliivka, and Olhivske, and in the direction of Ivanivka, Novoivanivka, and Poltavka.
On the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy tried to advance to the fortifications of the Ukrainian Defense Forces three times without success.
Supporting operation:
Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a UAV airstrike on the "Kirishnefteorgsintez" plant in the city of Kirishi, Leningrad Oblast, and struck the ELOU AVT-6 primary oil refining unit, the ELD-4 and ELD-5 primary processing units, and the Novo-Ufimsky Refinery "Bashneft-Novoyl" in Ufa, Bashkortostan.
The Naval Forces of Ukraine struck a communication hub of the Black Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of the 184th scientific-research experimental base in the city of Sevastopol, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
The 810th Separate Marine Brigade's actions on the Sumy direction are decentralized and it is the last naval infantry formation on the direction. The main forces of the brigade and the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 72nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 44th Army Corps remain the main attacking forces near Kindrativka. Other units of the brigade are fighting for Andriivka, and the 1443rd Motorized Rifle Regiment attacks near Oleksiivka and Varachyne. Some personnel from the 352nd and 346th Motorized Rifle Regiments were reassigned to the 1427th Regiment of the 11th Army Corps to replace losses sustained during assault operations.
Units of the 106th Airborne Division and the 76th Air Assault Division operate near Yunakivka.
UAV operators of the 25th BARS detachment "Anwar" operate in the border areas of the Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv oblasts.
The 217th Airborne Regiment of the 98th Airborne Division strikes Ukrainian positions in Mykolaivka and Chervone, the 255th and 33rd Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army operate on the Kostyantynivka direction, and the army's 238th Artillery Brigade shells Ukrainian positions near Berestky.

Possible operation situation developments:
According to the assessment of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the enemy will not be able to achieve the goal of the so-called special military operation to capture the entire Donetsk Oblast by the end of 2025. Provided current dynamics of combat operations are maintained, the enemy will be able to capture Pokrovsk, Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, and Kupyansk no earlier than the end of the year, and reach the close approaches to Zaporizhzhia and the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration by early winter.
The command of the enemy's “Sever (North)” Operational Grouping, in cooperation with the right flank of the “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping, will expand its bridgehead northeast of Velykyi Burluk in the Southern Slobozhansky direction and will try to capture Khatnie.
On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy's immediate offensive objective is to block the city of Kupyansk from the north and northwest, cut off the Kupyansk – Dvorichna – Velykyi Burluk – Chuhuiv road, and have forward units of the 6th Combined Arms Army break through to Kupyansk. An additional objective for the enemy within the operational area of the 6th Combined Arms Army is to advance toward Velykyi Burluk.
On the Lyman direction, the 25th Combined Arms Army will completely capture the Serebriansk Forest as far as the Chorny Zherebets River leading to the withdrawal of troops of the 3rd Army Corps across the river in the direction of Yampil.
On the Siversk direction, in the short term, the enemy will continue to attack Siversk directly from the east and head-on from northeast, ignoring the southern direction.
Russian troops will try to cut off the H20 Kostyantynivka – Sloviansk highway. For this purpose they will attack in the directions of Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka and Druzhkivka, complicating the logistics of the 19th Combined Arms Corps of the Defense Forces in Kostyantynivka, thereby contributing to the capture of the "fortress belt."
On the Pokrovsk direction, the 51st Combined Arms Army is currently focused on its immediate operational objective: to break through to the area of Shevchenko, Biletske, Rodynske, and Hryshyne and to block the entire defense area of Ukrainian Defense Forces within the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration from the north by cutting both roads that run from Pokrovsk to Dobropillya.
On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy's “Dnepr” Operational Grouping will continue the local offensive operation, trying to break through along the left bank of the Dnipro River from the Plavni – Kamianske line to Stepnohirsk and from the Stepove – Mali Shcherbaky line in a northern direction.
On the Prydniprovske direction, the command of the enemy's “Dnepr” Operational Grouping will continue trying to take control of most of the island zone in the Dnipro delta in the direction of Kherson, will try to create a tactical bridgehead on the right bank, and to eliminate the tactical bridgeheads of the 30th Marine Corps of Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of the automobile and railway bridges near Antonivka.

Humanitarian + general:
On the night of September 14, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile and 58 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other models. Ukrainian Air defense destroyed 52 drones. A missile and six UAVs hitting three locations were recorded, as were the falling fragments in two places.
At night, a Russian "Gerbera" drone attacked an enterprise in Chernihiv, causing a fire. There were no casualties.
On Sunday, on the outskirts of Nizhyn in the Chernihiv Oblast, Russian drones struck two critical infrastructure enterprises. According to Mayor Oleksandr Kodola, the Nizhyn district was under enemy UAV attack around 12:53, and the fragments of a shot-down "Shahed" fell in the city center. There were no casualties, but fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.
In the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, in a village in the Polohy district, the Russians struck a minibus with an FPV-drone—a 60-year-old man was injured.
On September 14, 2025, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation dropped an explosive from a drone on one of the streets in the city of Beryslav. As a result of the attack, a man died. In Bilozerka, Kherson Oblast, during enemy shelling, a man also died—he sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.
In the Mykolaiv Oblast, the enemy shelled the Kutsurubska community with an FPV-drone; a 68-year-old man was injured.
In the Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces shelled Sloviansk twice; a "Molniya-2" UAV struck an apartment building, and private homes were damaged.
In the city of Kostyantynivka, a series of enemy shellings were recorded throughout the day. The enemy used Smerch multiple launch rocket systems. Two missiles hit the city, as a result of which two civilians were injured.
During the day, Russian troops shelled two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. A 60-year-old man was injured in the Nikopol district. The occupiers struck the Marhanets, Myrivska, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivka communities, using FPV-drones and heavy artillery. Infrastructure, 7 private houses, 2 outbuildings, vehicles, a gas pipeline, and power lines were damaged. In the Synelnykove district, there were no casualties, but due to FPV-drone strikes, 3 residential buildings and 2 outbuildings caught fire.
In the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian invaders struck rescuers with an FPV-drone while they were extinguishing a fire; as a result of the attack, a State Emergency Service vehicle was damaged.
1,001 people, including 109 children, were evacuated from the Donetsk Oblast in one day.
