General conclusion:
Fierce battles continue along the entire perimeter of the enemy's incursion into the border strip of Sumy Oblast. The command of the "Kursk" Operational Grouping attempts to simultaneously expand the incursion and prevent the retreat of its forward units. Ukrainian Defense Forces actively counterattack the enemy in the western part of the incursion, effectively not only stopping the enemy's advance in this direction but also enveloping them from the flanks and encircling them. The position of Russian troops in the Oleksiivka area remains very vulnerable, where forward units of Ukrainian Defense Forces bypassed enemy positions from the east and northeast and broke through to Novomykolayivka. The enemy command introduced reserves into battle in the Bilovody – Varachyne and Vodolahy – Varachyne directions, attempting to prevent a complete encirclement in Oleksiivka with counterattacks on the flank of Ukrainian units.
The commands of the 6th Combined Arms Army and the 1st Tank Army significantly increased the intensity of combat operations on their adjacent flanks.
Russian troops on the Lyman direction attempt to prevent Ukrainian Defense Forces from redeploying reserves to more critical sectors of the front, particularly to the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions.
The commands of the 20th and 25th Combined Arms Armies continue to dislodge Ukrainian Defense Forces from the left bank of the Chornnyi Zherebets River in its lower course and simultaneously attempt to break through in the direction of the Oskil River in the Pisky Radkivski – Lozove sector and in the directions of Svyatohirsk and Lyman.
The Russian command failed to collapse the defense of the "Luhansk" Operational Tactical Group (OTG) along a series of heights west of the Chornnyi Zherebets River in the Kopanky - Druzhelyubivka sector (adjacent flanks of the 1st Tank Army and the 20th Combined Arms Army of the enemy). This complicates the aggressor's advance on Borova on a broad front due to the possibility of flanking counterattacks by Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The enemy command shifted the main attack direction in the 1st Tank Army's zone to a rather narrow sector in the Lozove – Borivska Andriivka and Vyshneve – Zelenyi Hai directions, attempting to mass its forces and assets on the shortest path to Borova.
Russian troops unsuccessfully attacked the outskirts of Siversk and were forced to retreat.
The enemy failed to capture Stupochky and Predtechyne.
Russian troops on the Pokrovsk direction attempt to advance north along highway T0504 Pokrovsk – Kostyantynivka to Kostyantynivka.
Russian troops continue attempts to cross the administrative border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts and establish themselves in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The enemy constructed approximately 10 earth-covered bunkers, 12 concrete bunkers without earth covering, and 8 hangars at the Khalino airbase in Kursk Oblast. 2 concrete bunkers were constructed at the Saky airbase in Crimea. No construction activity is noted at the Dzhankoi airbase in the occupied Crimea.

On the Kramatorsk direction, 5 combat engagements were recorded in the Chasiv Yar area and towards Stupochky.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and towards Stepanivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, 74 offensive actions by the aggressor were stopped in the areas of Poltavka, Myroliubivka, Mykolaivka, Razyne, Rodynske, Novotoretske, Promin, Vidrodzhennia, Shevchenko, Udachne, Novoserhiyivka, Kotlyarivka, Muravka, Zelenyi Kut, and Oleksiivka.
On the Novopavlivka direction, 27 attempts to break through defensive lines were stopped in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Novokhatske, Myrne, Shevchenko, Zelene Pole, Rivnopil, and Vilne Pole.
On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions twice, tried to advance towards Mali Shcherbaky and Novodanylivka.

The 104th Airborne Division operates in Kherson Oblast; the "Espanola" Volunteer Brigade operates on the coast of Crimea.
Possible operation situation developments:
According to the estimates of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the enemy will not be able to achieve the Kremlin's goal of capturing the entire Donetsk Oblast by the end of 2025. The new operational task of the enemy grouping in the theater of military operations is to advance to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and create a buffer zone 10 km deep. Full occupation of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts is possible no earlier than February 2028, provided current rates of advancement are maintained.
On the Northern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy’s “Sever (North)” Operational Grouping is trying to reach the Mala Korchakivka – Nova Sich – Maryinka – Sadky line.
On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, in the near future, the command of the Russian “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping will likely attempt to build on its recent tactical success and try to seize the area of Mala Shapkivka – Kindrashivka – Tyshchenivka – Velyka Shapkivka, and break through directly to the northern outskirts of Kupyansk, in the area of Moskovka.
The command of the enemy's "Sever (North)" Operational Grouping in cooperation with the right flank of “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, will attempt to expand its bridgehead northeast of Velykyi Burluk and capture Hatnie before attacking the city. For this purpose, the troops will have to force water obstacles, including the Velykyi Burluk River on the Shevchenkove – Mykhailivka – Velykyi Burluk line. Villages located along the river will become a significant obstacle for Russian troops. The Vovchansk – Velykyi Burluk – Dvorichna line can become a powerful defensive line within Russia's buffer zone in northern Kharkiv Oblast if the enemy can combine its efforts from three directions in the medium and long term.
On the Lyman direction, the forces of the Russian “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping will attempt to reach the line of Karlivka – Shandryholove – Drobysheve, while simultaneously advancing near Torske in an effort to enter Lyman from the east. The “Starobilsk” Operational-Tactical Group (OTG) will be forced to withdraw from the area of Kopani – Novoyehorivka – Druzhelyubivka – Cherneshchyna, in response to the enemy’s advance along the southern bank of the Siverskyi Donets River in the direction of Bilohorivka – Serebrianka, within the operational zone of the neighboring 3rd Combined Arms Army of the “Yug (South)” Operational Grouping.
On the Siversk direction, the command of the enemy's "Yug (South)" Operational Grouping will attempt to eliminate the Siversk salient held by "Khortytsia" OSG and break through towards the Sloviansk – Kramatorsk agglomeration. The 3rd Combined Arms Army will try to break through to the northern bank of the Siverskyi Donets River between Yampil and Hryhorivka, and from the southeast – toward Siversk. One should expect a revitalization of combat operations in the south-to-north direction with the enemy reaching the eastern outskirts of Siversk. The enemy will not be able to achieve its goal without reinforcing its grouping in that direction (primarily with the 106th Airborne Division).
On the Kramatorsk direction, the command of the enemy’s “Yug (South)” Operational Grouping and the 3rd Army may shift the direction of their main strike to the north of Chasiv Yar and launch an offensive on both sides of the Bakhmut–Sloviansk road, along the directions of Orikhovo-Vasylivka–Minkivka and Blahodatne–Pryvillya. This would allow them to break through to the immediate approaches to Sloviansk directly from the southeast and create a real threat of a deep envelopment of the right flank of the “Starobilsk” Operational Tactical Group (OTG). If the enemy succeeds in achieving operational surprise along these directions and advances to tactical depth, the situation in the Kolodyazi–Hryhorivka section on the Lyman direction will deteriorate significantly for the “Kharkiv” OTG.
The enemy's “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Grouping advanced to the northeast of Pokrovsk and will likely attempt to advance further in the coming months in order to achieve an envelopment of Pokrovsk and to bypass the “fortress belt” in Donetsk Oblast from the west. The enemy command may attempt to exploit the penetration in the Pokrovsk–Toretsk sector to envelop Pokrovsk from the northeast and north, or to bypass the defenses of the “Khortytsia” Operational and Strategic Grouping (OSG) in Kostyantynivka from the southwest and west. Further Russian advance north and west of the Razyne directly depends on the combat capability of the involved units (the 39th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 68th Army Corps, the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army, and the 110th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Combined Arms Army). In order to advance west of Razyne, Russian forces would need to force the Kazennyi Torets River at several locations, which could present an obstacle to their advance. The enemy would also have to seize villages along the Pokrovsk–Oleksandrivka line in order to fully sever Ukrainian logistics.
Envelopment of Pokrovsk from the northeast would require the enemy to advance significantly toward Rodynske, seize it, and establish a strong defensive area there to enable attacks on Pokrovsk or to advance toward Novooleksandrivka in order to cut the M30 highway (Pokrovsk–Pavlohrad) and compel the “Khortytsia” OSG to withdraw from Pokrovsk under threat of encirclement. Other possible courses of action for the enemy could include an advance north of Udachne or Kotlyne to sever the M30 highway, if they manage to break through Ukrainian defenses, or an attempt to penetrate between Dobropillya and Kostyantynivka in order to bypass the “fortress belt” from the west. Russian forces will attempt to advance to Rodynske from positions in the Novoekonomichne area and force the Defense Forces to retreat from Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad under threat of encirclement, before resuming the offensive in the direction of Kostyantynivka.
The enemy's development of its operational success in the Novopavlivka direction threatens to destabilize the situation on the Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, leading to negative consequences for Ukrainian Defense Forces in both operational and strategic terms. If the command of Ukrainian Defense Forces fails to stabilize the situation on this direction in the near future, then Ukraine’ military-political leadership should prepare for the opening of the Pavlohrad operational direction and the emergence of operational complications for the "Tavriya" OSG on the Zaporizhzhia direction.

A government change is planned in Ukraine. First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, whom President Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered to head the government, reported that she will soon present proposals for candidacies for the new Cabinet of Ministers; she emphasized that the government prepares for interaction with the Verkhovna Rada, and among the priorities identified by the president are strengthening the economy, supporting citizens, scaling up arms production, deregulation, and concentrating resources on defense and reconstruction.
This summer, the situation with electricity generation in Ukraine is significantly better than last year, and it does not foresee restrictions for the population and industry, however, the risks of possible Russian strikes and their consequences remain relevant. This was reported by First Deputy Minister of Energy Yuriy Sheiko. He noted that last summer there were significant restrictions due to numerous damages to thermal generation, but now, after the resumption of operation of many thermal power plant units, the situation has stabilized. However, the risks of attacks remain, and in case of new strikes, problems may arise. Despite the increase in temperature and growth in electricity consumption, the energy system is currently balanced, generation works without remarks, and capacities are sufficient to cover the needs of the population and industry, taking into account the repair of individual power units.
