On the Kursk direction, fighting continued near Nikolskiy, Russkaya Konopelka, and Cherkasskya Konopelka. Units of the 106th Airborne Division advanced to the western part of Sverdlivkovo on the western bank of the Loknia River. The enemy unsuccessfully attacked near Nikolaevo-Daryino, Nizhniy Klin, Alexandria, and Viktorovka. The military contingent of the Korean People’s Army has returned to the operational zone but changed tactics, attacking in groups of 15–20 people (platoons) instead of company-sized attacks as before.
The “Siversk” Operational Tactical Group (OTG) attacked near Kurylivka, advancing northwest and northeast from Fanaseevka.
On the Kharkiv direction, the “Kharkiv” OTG attacked near Lyptsi and Vovchansk.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces unsuccessfully attacked near Kindrashivka and Petropavlivka but advanced toward Borova and the southern outskirts of Makiivka. They also attacked near Zahryzove, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novoyehorivka, Kopanky, Novoserhiyivka, and Novomykhailivka.
On the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked toward Nove, Novolyubivka, Kolodyazi, and Yampolivka, making efforts to expand their bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets River and advance southwest of Kreminna.
On the Siversk direction, Russian forces advanced northeast of Siversk along Tsentralna Street on the western outskirts of Bilohorivka and north of Hryhorivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces attacked in Chasiv Yar, near Vasyukivka, Hryhorivka, Minkivka, Mayske, and Stupochky.
On the Toretsk direction, Russian forces attacked in Toretsk, near Shcherbynivka and Dyliivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces advanced in the area of the Toretsk mine.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attacked near Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Nadiivka, and Uspenivka. They advanced southwest of Vodiane Druhe and on the eastern outskirts of Pishchane. They attempted to advance northwest and southwest of Nadiivka, east of Myrne, and south of Berezivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the eastern outskirts of Vovkove from Pishchane, pushed Russian forces to the outskirts of Kotlyne, and counterattacked near Pishchane, Zvirove, and Vodyane Druhe.
On the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces advanced southwest of Dachne and attempted to move north of Andriivka, near Petropavlivka, and toward Konstyantynopil.
Positions of Ukrainian Defense Forces in Andriivka hold significant tactical importance, slowing the enemy's offensive on this direction. After advancing from Petropavlivka to the village with forces of the 67th Rifle Regiment of the 90th Tank Division, the enemy continues attempts to secure their foothold and hold the village. Small assault groups from the 67th Rifle Regiment, despite losses, persistently try to advance along the Vovcha River to the western outskirts of the village.
Units of the 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade are trying to advance toward Andriivka from Shevchenkove along the Orlova River, but so far without success.
The 6th, 80th Tank Regiments and 428th, 228th Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 90th Tank Division are engaged in fierce battles along the Nadiivka–Sribne line and west of Slovyanka village. The enemy has minimal advances west of Sribne and has engaged in battles for the Zaporizhzhia hamlet.
After regrouping and replenishing their forward units, the 36th and 39th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades resumed intensive offensive operations from the south, trying to collapse the “Khortytsia” OSG’s defense in the Dachne area, attacking along the road from Yantarne, and aiming to cut the Donetsk–Zaporizhzhia road west of Dachne, attacking east and north of Zelenivka toward Ulakli.
Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding the enemy south of the road, but enemy attacks on these axes are becoming increasingly intense. The enemy is employing armored vehicles.
On the Huliaypole direction, Russian forces advanced toward Burlatske, near Novosilka and Rivnopil, and attempted to move northwest of Vremivka.
On the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces attacked near Kamianske and Charivne.
General conclusion:
The command of enemy forces operating on the Novopavlivka direction is focused on eliminating the remaining positions of the Defense Forces at the Kurakhove bridgehead. To achieve this, units from three enemy operational groupings are involved: "Tsentr (Center)" (three regiments of the 90th Tank Division of the 41st Combined Arms Army, the 110th and 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 51st Combined Arms Army), "Yug (South)" (the 20th and 150th Motorized Rifle Divisions of the 8th Combined Arms Army), and "Vostok (East)" (the 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Combined Arms Army, the 39th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 68th Army Corps, and the 57th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Combined Arms Army). Ukrainian Defense Forces are retreating while fighting fierce rearguard battles, inflicting significant losses on the enemy and slowing its advance.
Over the past five days, the enemy has been striking the flanks of the Konstyantynopil – Rozlyv line, attempting either to encircle the defending units of Ukrainian Defense Forces or to push them out of their positions.
The situation in the area of Andriivka, which serves as one of the key tactical defense points of the “Khortytsia” OSG, is very tense. The forward units of the 90th Tank Division and the 114th and 110th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades are continuously attempting to attack in the directions of Shevchenko – Andriivka and Petropavlivka – Andriivka.
The actions of the 90th Tank Division of the 41st Combined Arms Army on the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions aim to cover the southern and southwestern flanks of its strike group operating south and southwest of Pokrovsk, while simultaneously creating a threat of encirclement from the north for the “Khortytsia” OSG defending the remnants of the Kurakhove bridgehead.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
There were 116 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched eight attacks. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy assaults near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Novoosynove, Pishchane, Lozova, and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked nine times, attempting to advance near Kopanky, Novomykhailivka, Novolyubivka, Yampolivka, and Kolodyazi.
On the Siversk direction, four assaults were repelled in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske.
On the Kramatorsk direction, seven clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Vasyukivka.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched eleven attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, thirty-four enemy assaults were repelled near Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Zvirove, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Andriivka, Oleksandrivka, Dachne, Zelene Pole, Ulakli, and Shevchenkove.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked seventeen times near Konstyantynopil, Burlatske, and Rivnopil.
On the Huliaypole direction, the enemy launched an airstrike on Kamianske.
On the Orikhiv direction, enemy attacks were successfully repelled near Shcherbaky and Kamianske.
In the operational zone in Kursk Oblast, units of the “Siversk” OTG repelled eighteen enemy attacks. The enemy conducted nineteen airstrikes.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Mediterranean Sea: 4 ships, including 3 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 26 cruise missiles.
Supporting operation:
Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a drone strike on the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
The 810th Separate Marines Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet operates near Makhnovka.
The 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Combined Arms Army operates on the Toretsk direction.
The 228th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 90th Tank Division has been redeployed from the Pokrovsk direction to the Novopavlivka direction.
The 33rd and 255th Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division, the 103rd and 102nd Motorized Rifle Regiments, and the 163rd Tank Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army are concentrated on the Novopavlivka direction, but only separate units of the 103rd and 255th Motorized Rifle Regiments and part of the 163rd Tank Regiment are directly involved in combat.
On the right flank of the “Vostok (East)” Operational Grouping, there are activities that may indicate the regrouping of the 40th and 336th Separate Marines Brigades from the vicinity of Velyka Novosilka to the Novopavlivka direction. The entire 36th Combined Arms Army (the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 5th Separate Tank Brigade) is already concentrated on this direction.
Possible operation situation developments:
Once the enemy sufficiently expands its bridgeheads on the Chornyi Zherebets River, the 25th Army, with forces of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division and the 164th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, will sharply intensify actions toward Torske and Yampolivka. This will mark the second stage of pushing "Khortytsia" OSG out of the bridgehead east of the Chornyi Zherebets River on the Lyman direction. To implement this plan, the command of "Zapad (West)" Operational Grouping will need to expand the bridgehead on the Chornyi Zherebets River to a size sufficient for concentrating an assault grouping and find additional forces and resources.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the "Khortytsia" OSG units will be forced to retreat to the Kostyantynivka area if the enemy reaches the Chervone–Stupochky line and simultaneously launches an offensive northward at the junction of its 41st and 51st Combined Arms Armies from the Novooleksandrivka–Arkhanhelske line, advancing to the Yablunivka–Oleksandro-Kalynove line on the Toretsk direction.
Significant troop regrouping should be expected soon in the operational zones of the “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Grouping and the “Yug (South) )” Operational Grouping.
The command of the enemy's "Vostok (East)" Operational Grouping will continue attacks in the direction of the Donetsk–Zaporizhzhia highway along the Mokri Yaly River in the near future and will additionally deploy part of the units from the 60th and 34th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades into the operation.
Exhausted by losses and intense battles over the past month, the enemy will not be able to quickly pursue "Khortytsia" OSG whose units are retreating from Velyka Novosilka. More and more enemy units are being withdrawn and redeployed to the Pokrovsk direction. Additionally, the enemy will not be able to break through to Zaporizhzhia or Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, as they lack the necessary troops, funds, and resources. The plan to collapse the southern Ukrainian front and advance toward Zaporizhzhia is unfeasible for the same reason.
On the Novopavlivka direction, two possible scenarios may develop: either the 20th or 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army will be redeployed at the right time to the operational zone of the 3rd Combined Arms Army on the Kramatorsk direction, or, after eliminating the remnants of the Kurakhove bridgehead, both divisions will be deployed near Pokrovsk.
In the near future, the enemy may shift the direction of its attacks on the southern flank of the remnants of the Kurakhove bridgehead from Ulakly and Dachne further west, toward Konstyantynopil, Rozlyv, and Bahatyr, and introduce the 57th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade into the operation in this direction.
If the Russian military command plans to prioritize the capture of the "fortress belt" in Donetsk Oblast in the spring and summer of 2025, it will be forced to intensify operational activity on the Toretsk direction in the near future. At the same time, capturing Pokrovsk will remain the primary operational objective of the Russian military command in Donetsk Oblast. Consequently, the redeployment of Eastern Military District troops to the Toretsk or Kramatorsk directions would signify a shift in the operational priorities of the occupying forces.

Humanitarian + general:
On the night of February 13, Russia launched 140 drones at Ukraine, of which 85 were shot down by air defense, and 52 failed to reach their targets. As a result of the attack, Odesa Oblast and Kharkiv Oblast were affected.
During the night of February 13, Russia massively attacked the Izmail district of Odesa Oblast with strike drones. The port infrastructure and a non-operational educational institution were damaged.
In the morning of February 13, Russian occupation forces once again shelled residential buildings in Kherson, injuring two people.
Around 16:30, Russian forces attacked a car in the Dnipro district of Kherson with a drone. A 58-year-old woman and a 62-year-old ambulance driver, who was on personal business, sustained fatal injuries.
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 104 shellings of border areas in Sumy Oblast, resulting in five injured and damage to houses, an educational institution, and a farm building.
Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Lubinets, stated that almost 600,000 children live in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine. The occupation authorities create various obstacles to prevent their evacuation to territories controlled by Ukraine, including encouraging enrollment in Russian or local occupation-controlled educational institutions, conducting filtration, and complicating the process of leaving TOT. Russians are also blocking access to Ukrainian educational resources, making distance learning more difficult. Despite these obstacles, children from TOT continue to enroll in Ukrainian schools and universities, and their number has increased significantly. In 2023, fewer than 2,000 children managed to leave the occupied territories, while in 2024, the number exceeded 11,000.
