On the Kursk direction, Russian forces crossed the international border and advanced west of Zhuravka to bypass Nikolaevo-Daryino from the south. They also advanced into the northern part of Sumy Oblast near Prokhody, attacking in the areas of Nikolskiy, Novaya Sorochina, Kruglenkoe, Malaya Loknia, Kositsa, Russkoe Porechie, Cherkasskoe Porechie, and Kurilovka.
The "Siversk" Operational Tactical Group (OTG) is holding positions in Pogrebki.

The 69th Motorized Rifle Division of the 6th Combined Arms Army significantly expanded its bridgehead on the Oskil River near Dvorichna, effectively taking control of half the village and advancing to the eastern outskirts of Zapadne. The enemy is attempting to advance along the Dvorichna–Kupyansk road southward toward Kindrashivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks west of Vyshneve by units of the 4th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army.

Battles are ongoing in the western and northwestern parts of Toretsk, where Russian forces attack with small infantry groups. The Russian military command has deployed reserves to Toretsk, doubling the number of Russian maneuvering groups participating in the assault. Assault units of the 1st and 9th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 51st Combined Arms Army are close to fully capturing the central part of the city. The village of Krymske and part of the northern area of the city remain under Ukrainian Defense Forces' control, but the enemy continues to attack westward and northward.Attacks by the 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Combined Arms Army south of Toretsk in the Nelipivka–Leonidivka direction were unsuccessful.
Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked in Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced west of Novovasylivka, captured Zelenyi, and moved south of Novovasylivka, from Udachne, and northwest of Solone. They conducted assaults near Yasenove, advanced toward Pokrovsk, and attacked in the areas of Baranivka, Tarasivka, Novooleksandrivka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Novyi Trud, Zelene, Zvirove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novovasylivka, Novoandriivka, Novoyelyzavetivka, Sribne, Yasenove, and Kotlyne. The enemy is attempting to advance toward the Solone–Udachne and Vovkove–Kotlyne directions. In the offensive zones of the 55th and 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades, the enemy achieved clear tactical success. However, in the zone of the 90th Tank Division's offensive on the right flank, the enemy became bogged down in battles near Novovasylivka and north of the Solona River, showing minimal progress. The situation continues to escalate near Vozdvyzhenka, where, following the capture of Kurakhove, the 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Combined Arms Army arrived. The aggressor significantly expanded its penetration here and advanced toward the road junction on the Bakhmut–Pokrovsk highway. The enemy has begun battles for Baranivka.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the 33rd and 255th Motorized Rifle Regiments and the 10th Tank Regiment of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army captured Yantarne. Russian forces advanced west of Slovyanka and attacked near Shevchenkove, Dachne, Yantarne, Konstyantynopolske, and Konstyantynopil.
Forward units of the 6th and 80th Tank Regiments, reinforced by the 428th Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 67th Rifle Regiment of the 90th Tank Division, are attempting to conduct active offensive/storming actions over an excessively wide front in the Novoelyzavetivka–Nadezhdynka, Ukrainka–Yasenove directions and from the Slovyanka–Petropavlivka line westward, but show minimal progress.

On the Orikhiv direction, the 71st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Combined Arms Army unsuccessfully attacked near Mala Tokmachka.
General conclusion:
Russian forces are attempting to bypass Pokrovsk by advancing through small villages south of Pokrovsk, aiming to cut off Ukrainian logistical routes.
The 98th Airborne Division, in coordination with the 4th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 3rd Combined Arms Army, the 200th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 14th Army Corps, and assault units of the "Volunteer Assault Corps," achieved a decisive tactical success in Chasiv Yar, capturing parts of the "Pivnichnyi" and "Desiatka" neighborhoods.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the deployment of several units and formations of the 41st Combined Arms Army within the operational zone of the 2nd Combined Arms Army yielded some effect. The 27th Motorized Rifle Division of the 2nd Combined Arms Army was partially regrouped on the right flank of the 2nd Army and partially relocated east of Pokrovsk, allowing the enemy's “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Grouping to consolidate the combat formations of this army on the direction. The 55th and 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 41st Combined Arms Army, which were introduced into the operation, managed to break through the Pokrovsk–Mezhova highway and cut it off near Kotlyne. The enemy's “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Grouping, in addition to the forces of the 2nd and 41st Combined Arms Armies, is actively involving part of the 51st Combined Arms Army forces, which operate on auxiliary directions. This enables the “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Grouping to concentrate the forces and resources of its armies on the main directions.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the efforts of the 8th Combined Arms Army's command to gradually increase pressure on the forward units of the “Khortytsia” Operational Strategic Group (OSG) are noteworthy. They are advancing along the Kurakhove–Dachne and Dalnie–Dachne directions with the 20th and 150th Motorized Rifle Divisions. Forces already engaged include the 163rd Tank Regiment, the 102nd and 103rd Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 150th Division, and the 33rd and 255th Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 20th Division. The 242nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division is advancing along the Sukhi Yaly River north of Konstyantynopolske.
Forward units of the 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Combined Arms Army, the 39th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 68th Army Corps, and the 57th and 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 51st Combined Arms Army managed to cross to the northern bank of the Sukhi Yaly River near Yantarne and consolidate their position. However, attacks near Zelenivka and Sukhi Yaly were unsuccessful.
The enemy has already completed encirclement of Vremivka and Velyka Novosilka from the north, east, south, and southwest. An assault on Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, and Neskuchne, which are still held by Ukrainian Defense Forces, is expected shortly.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
There were 140 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Kharkiv direction, the enemy launched 4 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk and Kozacha Lopan.
On the Kupyansk direction, there were 8 Russian attacks. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled assault actions near Petropavlivka and Pishchane.
On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 12 times, attempting to advance near Kopanky, Shyikivka, Pershotravneve, Makiivka, Tverdokhlibove, Terny, and Zarichne.
On the Kramatorsk direction, 15 clashes were recorded near the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
On the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 13 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Bila Hora, and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 58 Russian assault and offensive actions near Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelenе, Promin, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novovasylivka, Sribne, Petropavlivka, Novoandriivka, Dachne, Shevchenko, and Yantarne.
On the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked 9 times near the settlements of Konstyantynopil, Neskuchne, Vremivka, and Rivnopil. Enemy aviation was active in this direction.
On the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy conducted one unsuccessful assault.
In the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 17 attacks.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
Mediterranean Sea: 7 ships, including 2 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 22 cruise missiles.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
The 68th Tank Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army operates west of Kurakhove. The 68th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army and the 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Combined Arms Army operate on the eastern outskirts of Andriivka.
The 61st Separate Marines Brigade of the Northern Fleet most frequently attempts to advance on the Kozatsky, Velykyi Potemkin, and Zabych islands to establish footholds for future attacks on the right bank of the Kherson Oblast.
Possible operation situation developments:
The enemy command's plan for the Southwestern Theater of Military Operations during the winter campaign of 2025 may include an operation to capture Pokrovsk and the final occupation of Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, and Vovchansk. Another possible course of action could be the occupation of Kupyansk or simultaneous actions in several directions.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the "Khortytsia" OSG units will be forced to retreat to the Kostyantynivka area if the enemy reaches the Chervone–Stupochky line and simultaneously launches an offensive northward at the junction of its 41st and 51st Combined Arms Armies from the Novooleksandrivka–Arkhanhelske line, advancing to the Yablunivka–Oleksandro-Kalynove line on the Toretsk direction.
The enemy’s offensive on Pokrovsk may proceed according to two main scenarios:
A breakthrough to the city from the south and the gradual expulsion of Ukrainian Defense Forces from the city due to numerical superiority in forces and means (the enemy's tactics in Chasiv Yar).
A deep encirclement of Pokrovsk from the south, cutting the road to Mezhova, regrouping part of the 2nd Combined Arms Army's forces, encircling the city from the north as well, cutting the T0504 road to Kostyantynivka.
It appears likely that part of the forces of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District will be regrouped to the sector of advance of the 90th Tank Division of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District. Currently, part of the forces of the 8th Combined Arms Army, specifically the 20th Motorized Rifle Division, is exerting pressure from the front south of Kurakhove, attempting to collapse the "Khortytsia" OSG’s defense along the Sukhyi Yaly River, advancing in the direction of Dalnie – Zelenivka. It is assumed that the main forces of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division and the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army constitute the operational reserve in this sector. The 36th, 57th, and the 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades, advancing from the south towards Sukhyi Yaly and Yantarne, might simultaneously, together with the actions of the 51st and 8th Combined Arms Armies, once again attempt to break through in the direction of Zelenivka – Ulakly and further towards Konstyantynopil.
On the Vremivka direction, the 5th Combined Arms Army will attempt to bypass the "Khortytsia" OSG’s defense zone in the area of Velyka Novosilka – Vremivka – Neskuchne from the west, expand its section of control over the Velyka Novosilka – Uspenivka road between Novosilka and Vremivka, and actively broaden the penetration toward Neskuchne and Novosilka. It is most likely that the 34th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 49th Combined Arms Army (part of the brigade's units have been spotted in Kursk Oblast near the village of Pogrebki) will be introduced into the operation in this area.
