Operational situation
In the operational zone of the Ukrainian Operational Group of Forces (OTG) "Kharkiv" on the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued assault actions, with 6 combat engagements occurring in the area of Vovchansk.
In the "Khortytsia" Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSG) operational zone on the Kupyansk direction, the number of attacks during the day reached 10. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled all enemy assault actions near Synkivka, Berestove, Hlushkivka, and Stelmakhivka. On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 17 Russian attacks in the areas of Nevske, Makiivka, Terny, and in the Serebriansk Forest. On the Siversk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 7 assault actions near Bilohorivka, Spirne, and Vyimka. On the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 11 enemy attempts to breach their defense in the areas of Bila Hora, Ivanivske, and Chasiv Yar, with over 80% of all combat engagements occurring near the latter. On the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 10 attacks near Pivnichne, Zalizne, Druzhba, New York, and Toretsk, and conducted 9 airstrikes on Toretsk and surrounding areas.
In the "Tavriya" OSG operational zone, on the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 38 enemy assault actions, with the highest number occurring in the areas of Zhelanne, Hrodivka, and Vozdvyzhenka — 10, 8, and 5 respectively. On the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Karlivka, and Kostyantynivka, where the occupiers attempted nine times to breach their defense. On the Vremivka direction, the aggressor attacked Ukrainian positions three times in the area of Vodyane and from the direction of Staromykhailivka and Kermenchyk. On the Orikhiv direction, there was a combat engagement near Novodanylivka.
In the operational zone of "Odesa" OSG on the Prydniprovskiy direction, two Russian attacks were unsuccessful.
General conclusion:
Ukrainian Defense Forces have expanded their bridgehead on Russian territory from the line of Snagost, Novoivanovka, Malaya Loknia, Cherkasskoe Porechie, Martynovka in the northern and eastern directions.
The Operational Maneuver Group of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Kursk Oblast is advancing between pockets of enemy resistance, surrounding them, and only then attacking, suppressing resistance. Raid detachments are advancing along the roads, while the main forces are moving along secondary routes.
The Operational Maneuver Group of the Ukrainian Defense Forces has launched an offensive over rough terrain to the south of Sudzha and has secured a position in the village of Plekhovo. Russian Armed Forces are holding positions in the area of Makhnovka but are already under threat of encirclement from both flanks.
The intense use of electronic warfare and air defense systems (including FPV interceptors) by Operational Maneuver Group units has neutralized the enemy's massive use of "Orlan-10" reconnaissance UAVs, whose usage is not yielding the desired effect and is not allowing the Russian command to significantly enhance its situational awareness in the tactical and operational depths on the Kursk direction.
The Russian military command is avoiding the redeployment of combat-ready troops from the Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions, maintaining the priority of their actions there.
Russian troops have concentrated their main firepower efforts on the areas of Hrodivka and Zhelanne.
Russian forces are using 130-mm OF-482M artillery shells of Iranian production for M-46 guns.
Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense have signed a contract with Iran for the supply of Fath-360 ballistic missiles, with a maximum range of 120 km and a warhead weight of 150 kg. Dozens of Russian Armed Forces servicemen are currently training in Iran on the use of the Fath-360.

There were 114 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Kursk Direction: the forward units of the Operational Maneuver Group of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Kursk Oblast continued to advance and reached the following lines and areas: on the Rylsk direction, they reached the line of Snagost – south of the town of Korenovo, took control of most of the Korenovo – Sudzha road, and are consolidating their positions 25 kilometers from the town of Rylsk. Part of Korenovo is not under Russian control. On the Lgov direction, the forward units of the Operational Maneuver Group reached the village of Anastasiivka. They are attempting to advance towards the village of Kromski Byki and are consolidating their positions 17-18 kilometers from the town of Lgov. On the Kursk direction, the forward units, after repelling an enemy counterattack in the eastern part of Sudzha, advanced east along the R-200 road towards the city of Kursk and took control of the village of Martynovka.
A tactical group from the Operational Maneuver Group, which operated towards the Melovoe area, crossed the Psel River at several points and advanced southeast, taking control of the village of Plekhovo on the southern bank of the river. By doing so, they secured the right flank of the Operational Maneuver Group advancing in the general direction of Sudzha – Kursk.
In the area of Korenovo, south of Lgov, and east of Sudzha, the enemy deployed the forces of the "Kursk" Border Guard Unit, reserves from other directions. The command of the enemy's "Kursk" Border Guard Unit is so far unsuccessfully attempting to force Operational Maneuver Group troops into a defensive stance by counterattacking them and delivering intense artillery and air strikes.
Composition of the Operational Maneuver Group and its directions of action (information is being verified): The 82nd Air Assault Brigade (equipped with Challenger tanks, Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Stryker armored personnel carriers, and M109 self-propelled guns) is advancing in the western sector towards Korenovo. The 22nd Mechanized Brigade (equipped with RT-91 tanks, 2S3 self-propelled guns, and M2/3 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles) is advancing in the central sector (Sudzha and the area to the north). The 88th Mechanized Brigade (equipped with T-72 tanks and BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles) is advancing in the southern sector (south of Sudzha).
On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces continued offensive actions in northern Kharkiv Oblast, but there were no changes to the frontline. Battles continued near Hlyboke, Vovchansk, and Starytsya.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces advanced west of Novoselivske and conducted offensive actions in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Berestove, Kolisnykivka, and Tabaiivka.
On the Lyman direction, Russian forces advanced northwest of Zolotarivka and conducted offensive actions near Nevske, Makiivka, and in the Serebriansk Forest area.
On the Siversk Direction, Russian forces continued unsuccessful offensive actions in the Siversk area, attacking near Bilohorivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Ivano-Dariivka, and Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces continued offensive actions near Chasiv Yar, as well as near Ivanivske, Stupochky, and Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk direction, Russian forces made minor advances on the northern outskirts of Druzhba, expanded their zone of control by 400 meters in New York, in the fields west of Ozaryanivka, southwest of Yuriivka, and continued offensive actions in the areas of Toretsk, New York, and Dyliivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the 110th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Army Corps captured Nevelske. Russian forces advanced northwest of Serhiivka, in the fields north of Lozuvatka, captured Ivanivka, and continued offensive actions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelenyi Hai, Hrodivka, Kalynove, Zhelanne, Yasnobrodivka, and Karlivka.
On the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces advanced in the southeastern and northeastern parts of Kostyantynivka, in the fields southeast of Vodyane, and continued to attack near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostyantynivka, Vodyane, and Oleksandrivka.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
The "Group 13" unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate struck a Russian high-speed boat of the KS-701 "Tunets" project in the Uzkiy Bay near Chornomorske in Crimea. Three other enemy vessels were also damaged, and their identification is ongoing.
Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian gas platform in the Black Sea, where the enemy had stationed military personnel and electronic warfare equipment to disrupt GPS operations, with the aim of complicating civilian navigation in the Black Sea, particularly in the grain corridor.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
Units of the 810th Separate Marines Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet have engaged in combat near Sudzha and Martynovka. Units of the 155th Separate Marines Brigade of the Pacific Fleet are being redeployed to Kursk Oblast from the area near Vovchansk.
The first echelon of the enemy's "Kursk" Operational Grouping is completing its concentration and is deploying in designated areas and directions. Its total strength is estimated at 10-11 battalions. A reinforced battalion of the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 6th Army, up to three battalions of the 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 72nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 44th Army Corps, and a battalion of the 155th Separate Marines Brigade of the Pacific Fleet have arrived from the Kharkiv direction. A battalion of the 272nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army has been redeployed from the Kupyansk direction. Two air assault battalions of the 104th Airborne Division from the "Dnepr" Operational Grouping have arrived from the Prydniprovskiy direction. The battalion of the 217th Airborne Regiment of the 98th Airborne Division, which was restoring its combat capability in Kursk Oblast, has also been included in the forces and assets of the 1st echelon. The remaining troops consist of battalion tactical groups from the 64th and 38th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 35th Army of the "Vostok" Operational Grouping.
Ukrainian Defense Forces in Kursk Oblast have captured servicemen from the 488th and 1428th Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Army.
The Russian military command has regrouped the assault groups of the 153rd Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army for future assaults. The rotation of the 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 6th Army, which has been redeployed to Kursk Oblast, has been completed.
The 1194th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division of the 3rd Army Corps is operating on the Oleksandro-Shultyne direction.
Units of the newly formed 51st Army are operating in the New York area. Among them are the 9th and 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades, the "Sparta" reconnaissance battalion, and the "Somali" battalion. The formation of the headquarters and logistics support structure has been completed. Engineering and sapper units of the "Lavina" battalion of the 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade are operating on the Horlivka direction.
The "'Volga' Cossack Artillery Brigade" is operating in Vesele.

Possible operation situation developments:
The Russian military command on the Kursk direction will have to quickly deploy a second echelon of additional troops and assets (reserves), as the troops of its first echelon will not be able to stop the offensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' Operational Maneuver Group.
On the Kupyansk direction, in the operational zone of the 1st Tank Army, command of the enemy's "Zapad (West)" Operational Grouping will attempt to reach the Oskil River in the Hlushkivka – Zahryzove sector, the Petropavlivka – Kurylivka line, and storm Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi railway junction. To bind the “Khortytsia" OSG forces, the enemy will exert frontal pressure on their positions in the Stepova Novoselivka area.
In the near future, "Tavriya" OSG units will be forced to retreat westward beyond the Vovcha River under simultaneous pressure from the enemy's 27th Motorized Rifle Division, 90th Tank Division, and 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade. There is a high probability of an enemy breakthrough between Mezhove and Skuchne in the general direction of Komyshivka.
The redeployment of the enemy's 38th and 64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 35th Army from the enemy’s “Vostok” Operational Grouping to the Russian Kursk Oblast will slow down combat operations on the Vremivka direction and turn the combat engagements into low-intensity local positional battles.

Humanitarian+general:
On the night of August 11, 2024, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 4 ballistic missiles KN-23 and 57 Shahed strike UAVs, which air defense forces hunted until noon, and almost all were shot down.
For the second time since the beginning of August, the enemy directed its air attacks on Kyiv. The night of August 11, 2024, began with the launch of ballistic missiles toward Kyiv. The Iskander-M or North Korean KN-23 missiles were shot down in the suburbs. Around ten Shahed strike UAVs, after complex maneuvers, attempted to attack Kyiv, but all were shot down by air defense forces over Kyiv.
In Kyiv Oblast, due to the enemy's missile attack on the night of August 10-11, a man and his 4-year-old son died, and a 13-year-old child was seriously injured. Missile fragments fell on private residential buildings in the Brovary district of Kyiv Oblast.
For the second morning in a row, Russian forces struck Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast. On August 11, they once again hit an infrastructure facility. Among the wounded, one person is in serious condition and is being operated on, two received minor injuries and were provided with necessary medical assistance. In total, eight people were injured, and over 70 buildings were damaged.
On August 11, Russian occupiers killed a 93-year-old woman in Kherson. Before this, the enemy attacked civilians in the village of Kindiyka with a UAV. Two people on the street—a 49-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman—were injured. Also, in Antonivka, a 72-year-old woman was wounded by Russian shelling; she suffered a mine-explosive injury and was hospitalized.
Around 6 p.m., it was reported again that in Kherson Oblast, three members of the same family were hospitalized due to Russian shelling in Antonivka, one of whom is in serious condition.
On the evening of August 11, the Air Force reported a threat of ballistic weapons being used from the south. Shortly after, an explosion was heard in Odesa.
On the morning of August 11, identification of the victims of the Russian missile strike on Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Oblast was completed. According to final data, 14 people were killed in the attack by the Russian Armed Forces, including three children—girls aged 9, 11, and 16.
