Operational situation
In the operational zone of the Ukrainian Operational Group of Forces (OTG) "Kharkiv", there were 4 unsuccessful enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk and Hlyboke on the Kharkiv direction. Ukrainian forces continue to strengthen their defensive positions and lines.
In the "Khortytsia" Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSG) operational zone on the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to displace the Ukrainian Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Berestove but failed. On the Lyman direction, the number of clashes increased to 12. Russian forces tried to advance in the areas of Druzhelyubivka, Nevske, Terny, Torske, Hryhorivka, and the Serebriansk Forest. All attacks were successfully repelled. On the Siversk direction, the situation remained largely unchanged. Four assault actions in the areas of Spirne, Ivano-Dariivka, and Verkhnyokamianske ended in failure for the enemy. On the Kramatorsk direction, the aggressor tried 7 times to attack Ukrainian Defense Forces units in the areas of Novyi, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka. The situation is tense.
In the "Tavriya" OSG operational zone, the hottest situation remains on the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy made 21 attempts to penetrate the Ukrainian Defense Forces' battle formations near Yevhenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novopokrovske, Yasnobrodivka, Uman, and Karlivka. Nineteen enemy attacks were repelled. Fighting continues near Novooleksandrivka and Novopokrovske. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are making maximum efforts to exhaust and restrain the Russian invaders. On the Kurakhove direction, the situation remains tense with the number of clashes increasing to 17. The invaders are trying to advance near Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. Fourteen enemy attacks were successfully repelled. Fighting continues in the Krasnohorivka area. Measures are being taken to prevent the Russian forces from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory. On the Vremivka direction, the Russian military attempted to advance near Vodyane and Staromayorske. The Russian occupiers' assault actions failed. On the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers conducted an unsuccessful assault near Kopani.
In the operational zone of the "Odesa" OSG on the Prydniprovskiy direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks north of Krynky.
General conclusion:
The command of the enemy's "South" Operational Grouping is attempting to achieve its immediate objective of completely displacing the "Khortytsia" OSG units west of the Siversky Donets-Donbas canal within the entire city of Chasiv Yar. The enemy is applying frontal pressure but is still far from achieving results, despite significant advances in certain areas. An encirclement of Chasiv Yar from the south in the Ivanivske-Stupochky direction is unlikely.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the forces of the enemy's "Center" Operational Grouping continue to persistently attack in a northwesterly direction.
"Tavriya" OSG command is struggling to manage the operational crisis that has emerged across nearly the entire front of the enemy's "Center" Operational Grouping's advance. If the enemy continues to intensify efforts by deploying 2-3 motorized rifle brigades and 3-4 regiments to this direction, they could potentially turn tactical success into operational success.
Following the tactical success of the 239th Tank Regiment, the 228th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 90th Tank Division, and the 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Army Corps in the area of Umanske, the enemy's problem of securing their flanks has significantly diminished, at least from the south.
Russia has begun transporting fuel through the Kerch Strait via the railway bridge, compensating for the disruption of supplies caused by the Ukrainian Defense Forces' destruction of the Kerch ferry crossing.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
There were 73 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Sumy direction, a Chechen sabotage and reconnaissance group crossed the state border in Sumy Oblast and entered Ryzhivka, advancing approximately 730 meters into Ukrainian territory. The group was driven out of the village and returned to Russian territory.
On the Kharkiv direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the command post of the 6th Army (military unit 31807, Leningrad Oblast) with a missile strike, which was deployed at the "Nezhegol" recreation center (owned by Belgorod State University) near Shebekino, Belgorod Oblast.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continued counterattacks to the north and northeast of Kharkiv near Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
Russian forces attacked near Lyptsi, Hlyboke, Vovchansk, and Zelene.
On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces advanced in wooded areas southwest of Lyman Pershyi towards the Oskil River, capturing two railway stations between Synkivka and Lyman Pershyi, and attacked near Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Berestove, Stelmakhivka, and Druzhelyubivka.
On the Lyman direction Russian forces attacked near Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, Torske, Hryhorivka, and in the Serebriansk Forest area.
On the Siversk Direction, Russian forces continued to attack near Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Vyimka, and Ivano-Dariivka, advancing in the area of a chalk quarry south of Bilohorivka, reaching the outskirts of Rozdolivka, and intensively shelling the village.
On the Kramatorsk direction, forward units of the 98th Airborne Division took control of most of the "Kanal" neighborhood (up to the intersection of O. Koshevoho Street and Zrazkova Street). South of the city, in the wooded area, units of the 102nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division and the 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade made no significant progress despite active attempts to attack Ukrainian Defense Forces positions in the "Novyi" neighborhood. The enemy has not yet managed to cross the "Siversky Donets-Donbas" canal in the areas adjacent to the Kostyantynivka-Bakhmut road. Northwest of the city, units of the 200th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 14th Army Corps and the so-called "Volunteer Corps" are attempting to break through towards Bohdanivka-Kalynivka to reach the "Zhovtnevyi" neighborhood from the north, battles for Kalynivka are ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk direction, forward units of the 30th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, in cooperation with the 35th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 433rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 27th Motorized Rifle Division of the 3rd Army Corps, managed to capture Novooleksandrivka and advance north of the railway towards Lozuvatka. Stopping the enemy's advance on the Ocheretyne-Vozdvyzhenka direction has been unsuccessful, as has halting the advance southwards in the Umanske area towards Yasnobrodivka, Novopokrovske-Novoselivka Persha, and towards Sokil.
On the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces advanced to the windfall area northwest of Solodke but failed to hold their positions after a counterattack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Ukrainian forces are also counterattacking near Paraskoviivka. The enemy continued to advance near Kostyantynivka, attacking in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostyantynivka.
On the Vremivka direction, Russian forces advanced on the northern outskirts of Staromayorske, capturing the entire village, and advanced in the southern part of Urozhaine.
On the Orikhiv direction, positional battles continued near Robotyne, Verbove, Kopani, and Mala Tokmachka.
On the Prydniprovskiy direction, positional battles continued near Krynky and on the islands in the Dnipro River delta.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a group missile strike on the positional areas of the 31st Air Defense Division of the 4th Air and Air Defense Army of the enemy in the occupied Crimea. Radar stations and stockpiles of S-400 missiles near Dzhankoi and two S-300 missile batteries near Chornomorske and Yevpatoria were hit. At least ten ATACMS missiles were used in the strike, with the Russian air defense system failing to intercept any of them.
In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
Azov Sea: 8 ships, including 3 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 24 cruise missiles.
Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 2 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 12 cruise missiles.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
Due to the loss of combat capability, the remnants of the 41st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 72nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 44th Army Corps are being withdrawn from Kharkiv Oblast. Several groups of Russian soldiers from this regiment have surrendered.
The 137th Airborne Regiment of the 106th Airborne Division is operating along the Rozdolivka-Vasyukivka line south of Siversk.
The command of the enemy's "South" Operational Grouping is significantly limited in the number of combat-ready forces and assets after the transfer of up to two airborne regiments from the 98th and 106th Airborne Divisions to the Kharkiv direction.
The 110th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Army Corps continues to operate in Krasnohorivka, while units of the 39th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 68th Army Corps are active near Vuhledar. The 10th Tank Regiment is engaged in combat near Paraskoviivka.
The command of the enemy's Aerospace Forces has transferred part of its air defense forces and assets from occupied Crimea to Belgorod Oblast, resulting in partial air defense coverage of Crimea.
Escalation indicators:
On the Kramatorsk operational direction, the enemy has completed regrouping and resumed active offensive actions.
Possible operation situation developments:
The enemy's “Sever” Operational Grouping command is preparing to cross the Vovcha River towards Hatyshche and Synelnykove to create conditions for the further advance of the 25th and 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 6th Combined Arms Army into the city of Vovchansk.
Another potential development could be the enemy's attempt to connect their footholds in the Vovchansk direction with those in the Lyptsi direction. To accomplish this, they might initiate offensive operations toward Buhruvatka-Starytsya, targeting Izbytske and Ternova. This would involve deploying additional motorized rifle and tank battalions on the western bank of the Siversky Donets River.
The "Center" Operational Grouping command is focused on executing the following operational plan: to establish conditions for the blockade and encirclement of the Kurakhove area or to create advantageous circumstances for launching an offensive operation to encircle "Tavriya" OSG’s defense in Toretsk area from the south.
The fighting in the Staromayorske area is a diversionary action aimed at forming a strike tactical group of 3-4 brigades and 1-2 regiments in the Mykilske-Novodonetske sector. The likely objective of this tactical group could be to break through the Kashlahach River in the Uspenivka area simultaneously with the "Yug" Operational Grouping's advance towards Kurakhove.

Humanitarian+general:
According to information provided by the Situation Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Russian forces shelled 10 regions of Ukraine over the past day. A total of 45 towns and villages and 31 infrastructure objects were attacked with various types of weapons. The number of casualties is being updated/clarified.
On June 10, 2024, at 23:20, the Russian army launched an airstrike on the city of Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Oblast. According to preliminary data, the enemy dropped a "KAB-500" glide bomb. Five civilians were injured.
On the evening of June 10 and the morning of June 11, Russian military forces attacked Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast using kamikaze drones and artillery. The occupiers damaged an infrastructure facility and residential buildings, resulting in one person being injured.
On June 11, the use of hourly blackout schedules across Ukraine was extended by 4 hours, with restrictions now in effect from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, according to the press service of "Ukrenergo." The extension is due to increased consumption during the heat and a lack of energy saving measures.
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are investigating 96 criminal cases in which journalists are victims of war crimes. Three Russian war criminals have already been convicted for crimes against journalists, Andriy Kostin, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, said.
The Office of the Prosecutor General has brought charges against the former head of the Suhodil Correctional Colony in Luhansk Oblast. It has been established that this individual ordered the cruel treatment of Ukrainian POWs at the former correctional facility, which Russian invaders had turned into a torture chamber. The Security Service of Ukraine identified the suspect as Volodymyr Rudyak, who had overseen the Suhodil Correctional Colony since 2007.
