On the Southern Slobozhansky Direction, Russian forces attacked near Hrafske, Prylipka, Vovchansk, and Vovchanski Khutory.
A spokesperson for a Ukrainian brigade operating on the South-Slobozhansky direction reported on 6 February that Russian forces attack from the international border in the direction of Dekhtyarnе (northeast of Kharkiv), but Ukrainian forces maintain fire control over the village and the border.
On the Kupyansk Direction, remnants of enemy assault groups defend themselves in the hospital building in the center of Kupyansk. Russian forces attempted to advance north of Petropavlivka, west of Tabaiivka, attacked near Kupyansk, in the direction of Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Podoly, Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, near Zahryzove, and Oleksandrivka.
Ukrainian Defense Forces advanced along the R79 highway north of Zahryzove.
On the Sloviansk Direction, Russian forces attempted to advance south of Stavky and Nykyforivka, north of Ozerne, attacked near Lyman, Svyatohirsk, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Yampil, Dibrova, Dronivka, Zakitne, Platonivka, in the direction of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kostyantynivka Direction, Russian forces captured Novomarkove, advanced north of Pryvillya, southwest of Ivanopillya, attacked near Kostyantynivka, Minkivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Ivanopillya, Kleban-Byk, Berestok, Yablunivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. The pace of the enemy advance toward Kostyantynivka decreased due to current communications problems caused by Starlink outages.
On the Pokrovsk Direction, Russian forces advanced south of Rodynske, attempted to advance to the southern outskirts of Bilytske, southeast of the village, south of Dorizhne, attacked near and within Pokrovsk, near Hryshyne, in the direction of Novooleksandrivka, near Rodynske, in the direction of Bilytske, near Zatyshok, near Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodnie, in the direction of Serhiivka.

On the Orikhiv Direction, Russian forces attacked near Novodanylivka, Prymorske, Richne, Lukyanivske, and Magdalynivka.
Supporting operation:
Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Redkinsky Experimental Plant of Chemical Materials in Tver Oblast and an oil depot in Saratov Oblast.
General conclusion:
On the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attack sporadically and have reduced the intensity of combat operations due to freezing and snowy weather.
Russian forces unsuccessfully attempt to infiltrate toward Lyman. On the Sloviansk direction, Russian forces attempt to cross frozen sections of the Siverskyi Donets River in groups of 2–3 servicemen, employ infiltration tactics, typically from the area of Siversk, attempt to advance near Zakitne, Dronivka, and Platonivka, but have not achieved significant success.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces have saturated the front line with Mavic drones, operational reconnaissance UAVs Supercam, Zala, and Orlan, and Molniya UAVs for logistics purposes, are moving heavy equipment, including artillery, toward the center of Myrnohrad while combat operations continue on the northern outskirts of the city. They intensify attacks in this area by deploying large numbers of assault infantry and use fog and poor weather conditions to advance.
Ukrainian Defense Forces hold positions in Huliaypole despite the fact that forces of three enemy Combined Arms Armies are advancing in areas east and northeast of the city, which reduces the priority of other operational directions. The enemy lacks the troops and resources for a simultaneous offensive on the Huliaypole and Oleksandrivka directions and is also limited in forming operational reserves.
Russian forces achieved relatively rapid success on the Huliaypole direction in November 2025 after conducting a broad air campaign against Defense Forces logistics facilities but have not achieved significant operational success since then. The occupiers intended to bypass Ukrainian defenses south of Orikhiv from the direction of Huliaypole and to use the operational gains of the “Yug (South)” and “Dnepr” Operational Groupings on the Orikhiv and Huliaypole directions to advance on the city of Zaporizhzhia, but failed to cut the T0814 Huliaypole–Orikhiv highway and advanced as far as possible beyond the city from the east. Forces of the “Vostok (East)” Operational Grouping on the Huliaypole direction operate approximately 35 km from Orikhiv. Forces of the “Dnepr” Operational Grouping are bogged down in fighting near Orikhiv, especially in Mala Tokmachka.
Russian forces used Geran UAVs to strike the railway station in Trostianets, Sumy Oblast, and conducted a missile and aviation UAV strike on the railway hub in Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad Oblast. The enemy strikes Ukrainian railway infrastructure, seeking to destroy rear logistics hubs as part of an overall plan to degrade Ukrainian Defense Forces logistics throughout the entire strategic depth.
Air Force assets of Ukrainian Defense Forces are capable of destroying more than 70% of aerial targets using aviation, helicopters, and interceptor UAVs in good weather, while surface-to-air missile forces remain the primary and most effective means of countering them.
Change in the line of contact (LoC), directions of attacks and counterattacks:
There were 153 combat engagements on various fronts.
On the Southern Slobozhansky Direction, the enemy attempted 10 times to break through Ukrainian defensive lines in the areas of Vovchansk and Dvorichanske and in the direction of Prylipka, Kutkivka, and Fyholivka.
On the Kupyansk Direction, 2 combat engagements took place in the area of Pishchane.
On the Sloviansk Direction, 17 attempts by the occupiers to wedge into the Ukrainian defense were stopped in the areas of Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, Tverdokhlibove, Novoselivka, to advance toward Yampil, Platonivka, Kryva Luka, and in the areas of Dronivka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka.
On the Kostyantynivka Direction, the enemy conducted 12 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Berestok, Illinivka, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and Ivanopillya.
On the Pokrovsk Direction, 41 assault actions by the aggressor were stopped near Vilne, Zatyshok, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodnie, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiya, Shevchenko, and in the direction of Toretske.
On the Oleksandrivka Direction, the enemy conducted 5 attacks in the areas of Yehorivka and Zlahoda and in the direction of Ivanivka, Zlahoda, Zelenyi Hai, and Verbove.
On the Huliaypole Direction, 21 attacks by the occupiers took place in the areas of Huliaypole, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, and in the direction of Svyatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, Zelene, and Krynychne.
On the Orikhiv Direction, 2 enemy attacks were repelled in the area of Prymorske.
Changes in the enemy disposition:

The 11th Air Force and Air Defense Army strikes Ukrainian positions near Hirke, Lyubytske, and Huliaypilske.
The 7th Air Assault Division strikes Ukrainian forces on the Zaporizhzhia direction, in particular near Prymorske.
Possible operation situation developments:
The enemy has begun preparations for this year’s summer campaign. Two offensive operations should be expected starting from the end of April 2026 — the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk and the Orikhiv-Zaporizhzhia operations. The enemy’s military command will focus on forming and deploying strategic reserves, accumulating operational and strategic materiel stocks to the relevant directions, deploying strike groupings in assembly areas for the offensive, carrying out a set of measures to comprehensively cover operational deployment (air defense, EW, counterintelligence measures, etc.), and conducting covert regrouping of forces. The disruption of the enemy’s summer offensive will lead to a prolonged loss of offensive capabilities, depletion of resources, and will provide a real chance to end the war.
The enemy “Sever (North)” Operational Grouping will continue to operate simultaneously along the Northern Slobozhansky Direction, the Southern Slobozhansky Direction, and the Velykyi Burluk Direction and will attempt to seize as large an area as possible in Sumy Oblast and Kharkiv Oblast with the aim of subsequent political bargaining for their exchange for territories in Donetsk Oblast that the enemy will be unable to seize.
On the Southern Slobozhansky Direction, in the Vovchansk area, the enemy “Belgorod–Kharkov” Tactical Group will continue attempts to break through along the eastern bank of the Siverskyi Donets in the southern direction and advance as far as possible in the Vovchansk–Bilyi Kolodyaz direction. Attempting to advance in the general Vovchansk–Staryi Saltiv direction, the Tactical Group command will try to secure the right flank of its main forces, which will advance toward Bilyi Kolodyaz.
In the Kupyansk area, Russian forces will intensify operations along the Pishchane–Kurylivka line and further toward Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, as well as along the Kolisnykivka–Hlushkivka line and further toward Kivsharivka and Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi. The headquarters of the 1st Tank Army and the 6th Combined Arms Army will attempt to achieve the required tactical troop density through regrouping within their respective armies. To implement this concept, the enemy will have to commit part of its strategic reserves in this Direction (several brigades or 1–2 divisions from among the recently formed units), or it will be forced to halt offensive operations in the Velykyi Burluk, Lyman, and Vovchansk Directions. The enemy’s “Sever (North)” Operational Grouping will concentrate its efforts on seizing the eastern part of Kupyansk, attacking from the north, will attempt to push the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ 16th Army Corps south of the Kucherivka–Petropavlivka line, advancing toward Petropavlivka along the road from Vilshana and attacking the northeastern part of the city from the direction of Lyman Pershyi. To restore the situation in the Kupyansk area, the enemy will intensify actions within the offensive zone of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army, which conducts a frontal advance on Kupyansk from the east. Attempts by the 2nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 1st Tank Army to eliminate the bridgehead of the 16th Army Corps of Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Oskil east of Kupyansk will continue. The 6th Combined Arms Army of the enemy “Sever (North)” Operational Grouping will advance simultaneously on three directions: toward Staryi Saltiv, Velykyi Burluk, and in the Kupyansk area. The army’s troops will attempt to advance from the Dvorichanske bridgehead in the Krasne Pershe–Novovasylivka and Dvorichna–Ridkodub directions, attack in the Milove–Ambarne direction with the aim of capturing the latter and will try to outflank from the north and south the defensive strongpoint of the 16th Army Corps of Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kolodyazne area.
On the Sloviansk Direction, the enemy will continue intensive assault operations on the sector from the Siverskyi Donets to Sviato-Pokrovske, attempting to break through to the Kryva Luka – Kalenyky line and seize Riznykivka. Continued attacks should be expected on both sides of the Sloviansk – Bakhmut road. Enemy assault actions are likely aimed at seizing Nikiforivka, breaking through to Fedorivka Druha, and attempting to reach the Malynivka – Vasyutynske line. The overall offensive direction of the 3rd Combined Arms Army will not change in the near term.
On the Kostyantynivka Direction, the enemy “Yug (South)” and “Tsentr (Center)” Operational Groupings operating with two Tactical Groups, “Bakhmut” and “Dzerzhynsk,” will attempt to defeat the forces of the 9th and 10th Army Corps of Ukrainian Defense Forces, seize the Kostyantynivka–Druzhkivka agglomeration, and reach the near approaches to Kramatorsk from the south and southeast. Tactical Group “Dzerzhynsk,” advancing in the Yablunivka–Stepanivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove–Berestok, and Pleshchiivka–Berestok Directions, will attempt to break through to the Stepanivka–Berestok line and subsequently to the Dovha Balka–Illinivka line, and will attempt to seize the entire western part of Kostyantynivka along the western bank of the Kryvyi Torets River. Tactical Group “Bakhmut,” advancing in the Oleksandro-Shultyne–Kostyantynivka and Predtechyne–Kostyantynivka Directions, will attempt to break through to the eastern part of the city and will attempt to reach the Izhevka–Virolyubivka line along the eastern bank of the Kryvyi Torets River. Simultaneously with the breakthrough of Tactical Group “Bakhmut” units into the eastern part of Kostyantynivka, the 70th Motorized Rifle Division of the 18th Combined Arms Army will sharply increase combat activity in the Chasiv Yar area and in the Kalynivka–Virolyubivka Direction, after which it will advance in the Directions toward Kurtivka and Druzhkivka.
On the Oleksandrivka and Huliaypole Directions, the enemy’s “Vostok (East)” Operational Grouping will advance on the widest possible front, attempting to maximally stretch the forces of Ukrainian Defense Forces and their reserves, attempting to maximally stretch the Defense Forces and their reserves, and through active offensive actions by the 36th Combined Arms Army will attempt to ensure, on the main strike Direction toward Huliaypole, the maximum concentration of its own forces and assets in the zone of the 5th Combined Arms Army, which will advance in the general direction of Varvarivka – Verkhnya Tersa – Omelnyk. The enemy 35th Combined Arms Army will attempt to break through with its main forces to the near approaches to Orikhiv, after which it will assault the city. The enemy 58th Combined Arms Army will advance northward along the Dnipro River, will attempt to reach the defensive line of the 17th Army Corps of Ukrainian Defense Forces along the Konka River on the Malokaterynivka – Komyshuvakha section, and will attempt to cut its logistics in Orikhiv.
On the Prydniprovske direction, the command of the enemy’s “Dnepr” Operational Grouping will continue trying to take control of most of the island zone in the Dnipro delta in the direction of Kherson, will try to create a tactical bridgehead on the right bank, and to eliminate the tactical bridgeheads of the 30th Marine Corps of Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of the automobile and railway bridges near Antonivka.
