General conclusion:
The command of the 6th Combined Arms Army redeployed to Belgorod Oblast units that had held the line on the eastern bank of the Oskil River and were intended to reinforce efforts on the opposite bank. If the 69th Motorized Rifle Division is redeployed in full to the area near Chervona Yaruha, the enemy will no longer have the capacity to advance from the bridgehead. At the same time, continuation of the offensive will trigger a counterstrike by the “Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Group (OSG) on the eastern bank, which threatens the destruction of the 6th Combined Arms Army in Kharkiv Oblast. The situation on the Kupyansk direction is becoming increasingly tense, and its development depends on the availability of reserves in Ukrainian Defense Forces for a counterstrike.
The counterattack by the “Khortytsia” OSG near the village of Nadiia not only restored lost positions but also created conditions for an attack on Raihorodka, which is one of the key defensive nodes ensuring the stability of the 20th Combined Arms Army’s operational zone, covering the road to Svatove–Kreminna and to Svatove itself.
The offensive operation against the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration will be conducted by the enemy’s "Yug (South)" Operational Grouping commanded by Lieutenant General Oleksandr Sanchyk. Over the past two weeks, the enemy carried out over 200 attacks by small groups along the entire frontline on the Siversk direction, assessing prospects for an offensive. The key to success is the capture of Siversk, which the enemy is attempting to reach from three directions – from Lyman, Bilohorivka, and the areas of Vyimka and Pereyizne. The start of the operation is expected in the first half of April.
Troops of the 8th Combined Arms Army, deployed at the junction of the Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions, launched an offensive from the south on Romanivka, captured Oleksandropil, and are fighting for Panteleymonivka. The planned offensive of the 8th Combined Arms Army toward Kostyantynivka from the south is only beginning; active defense and actions in the Pokrovsk direction by Ukrainian Defense Forces have delayed its start by a month.
In Chasiv Yar, fighting continues on the outskirts of the northern residential areas and in districts in the southwestern part of the city.
In Toretsk, urban combat is almost over. The enemy’s 51st Combined Arms Army is establishing a dense control zone in the destroyed city and is advancing north and east of Toretsk, in the area of Dachne.
From the Pokrovsk direction, the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army began an advance on Tarasivka but was forced to disperse its forces to repel Ukrainian counterattacks from Vozdvyzhenka and Yelyzavetivka. Units of the division suffered heavy losses in battles near Vozdvyzhenka and Tarasivka.
In the areas of Andriivka and Konstyantynopil, Ukrainian Defense Forces recaptured some positions from the enemy and disrupted its plan to encircle or bypass Konstyantynopil from the northwest.
Russian fire control over the N15 highway from Kurakhove to Zaporizhzhia enables the effective disruption of Ukrainain Defense Forces’ logistics and the creation of a bridgehead for future offensive operations.
On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy has engaged two motorized rifle regiments and several composite units of smaller size. It conducts combat operations in the grey zone but has not reached the “Tavriya” OSG’s first line of defense near Orikhiv. The enemy’s increased activity in Zaporizhzhia Oblast is demonstrative in nature and aims to deter the “Tavriya” OSG from engaging in active offensive actions.
The Russian Federation plans to deploy 12 to 15 new divisions intending to increase the strength of its Armed Forces by 150,000 personnel for this purpose in 2025.

Supporting operation:
Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the "Optical Fiber Systems" plant in Saransk.
The 590th Separate Radio Engineering Center of military unit 84680 in Kovylkino (Mordovia) was attacked.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
The 7th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the 11th Army Corps operates near Lyptsi, although it previously engaged in combat northeast of Kupyansk.
The 4th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army is advancing in the directions of Raihorodka–Cherneshchyna and Pershotravneve–Kopanky.
The 254th, 283rd, 488th, and 1428th Motorized Rifle Regiments, and the 59th Tank Regiment of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Combined Arms Army operate toward Lyman.

The 238th Artillery Brigade of the 8th Combined Arms Army, the 346th Separate SOF Brigade, the 77th Motorized Rifle Regiment, and the 174th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division operate near Dyliivka.
The 33rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the 8th Combined Arms Army operates near Tarasivka.
The 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 2nd Combined Arms Army operates in the area of Kurakhove.
The 1461st Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 5th Separate Tank Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army operate near Vesele.
The 14th Separate SOF Brigade operates near Bahatyr and Vesele.
Possible operation situation developments:
The plan for the enemy's spring-summer offensive campaign in the Southwestern Theater of Operations may be as follows: a simultaneous breakthrough towards Kostyantynivka and Druzhkivka from the south and southeast (from the direction of Toretsk and Vozdvyzhenka), as well as from the northeast (from the direction of Chasiv Yar), followed by an advance towards Kramatorsk from the south while simultaneously advancing towards Slovyansk with the forces of the 20th and 25th Combined Arms Armies of the "Zapad (West)" Operational Grouping through Lyman.
The enemy cannot establish a full-fledged buffer zone on the border of Kursk and Sumy Oblasts, so the simplest option may be an invasion of Sumy Oblast by a grouping of 22,000–27,000 military personnel along the Sumy–Sudzha highway within a 35–40 km-wide zone (stretching from Zhuravka to Myropillya). This territory has already been turned into a buffer zone by Ukrainian Defense Forces, which will greatly complicate enemy actions.
Russian forces may use the bridgehead northeast of Lyman for the further capture of Borova or Lyman in the coming months. The enemy may focus on advancing from Ivanivka to Kolodyazi in the general direction of Lyman or toward Nove and Katerynivka in the general direction of Borova. Russian forces will attempt to advance east and southeast of Borova to create conditions for an offensive along the Novoserhiyivka – Druzhelyubivka – Novyi Myr line, bypass Ukrainian defenses in these settlements, and advance eastward and toward Borova in the coming months.
Possible enemy courses of action in the Lyman direction may also include attempts to use the expansion of the bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets River near Ivanivka for the further capture of Lyman. The enemy may try to advance toward Karlivka from Nove and toward Drobysheve from Kolodyazi, attempting to reach and secure the Karlivka – Shandryholove – Drobysheve line while simultaneously intensifying the offensive near Torske and advancing on Lyman from the east.
Ukrainian Defense Forces may launch an offensive in the direction of Lyman Pershyi – Horobivka – Tavilzhanka, which, if successful, will lead to either the enemy's rapid retreat from the Dvorichna bridgehead or its encirclement there. Such a development would result in the loss of combat capability of the entire enemy's 6th Combined Arms Army.
On the Kramatorsk direction, the envelopment of Chasiv Yar from the south by advancing toward Stupochky will be a priority for the command of the 3rd Combined Arms Army and the 98th Airborne Division of the enemy.
The operational plan of the 8th Combined Arms Army on the Kostyantynivka direction is to envelop the tactical group of the "Khortytsia" OSG, which is defending south of Kostyantynivka between Oleksandropil and Tarasivka from the flanks. The enemy aims to encircle and destroy this group or, if unable to do so, force it to withdraw from the area south of Kostyantynivka in a northwestern direction under the threat of encirclement. The ultimate goal of these actions is a two-pronged breakthrough from the southwest and southeast toward the area of Stepanivka – Berestok – Pleshchiivka – Yablunivka, followed by a simultaneous assault on Kostyantynivka from this area and from the direction of Chasiv Yar. After the reaching the Poltavka–Pleshchiivka line, the enemy’s 3rd Combined Arms Army, reinforced by an airborne forces group, will attempt a rapid breakthrough from the bridgehead on the Siverskyi Donets–Donbas canal in the Chasiv Yar area, advancing from the northeast toward Kostyantynivka.
The objective of enemy forward units attacking in the Shcherbaky area may be to seize the commanding heights located west of Orikhiv from Novoandriivka to Novopavlivka. This position would allow the enemy to establish fire control over the Orikhiv – Komyshuvakha road, which is the main logistical route for the “Tavriya” OSG in the Orikhiv defensive area. In the near future, the direction of the main strike by the 58th Combined Arms Army from the zone of the 19th Motorized Rifle Division is likely to shift further east (possibly Nesteryanka – Novoandriivka). Operationally, the enemy offensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction may resemble an attempt to outflank the Orikhiv defensive area from the flanks by attacking from the Shcherbaky – Nesteryanka line toward the heights west of Orikhiv and from the Myrne – Novopokrovka line toward the heights located east of the city.

As part of a campaign to erase Ukrainian identity, the occupiers are "marking" temporarily occupied territory in Luhansk Oblast with graves of fake heroes, according to the Center of National Resistance. Under the banner of the "80th anniversary of victory," the occupiers are once again reviving Soviet myths and fake "heroes" of World War II. The temporarily occupied territory is being turned into a propaganda museum. In Luhansk, schoolchildren have been involved in the project "Guardians of Heritage" — children are arranging graves of "heroes of the USSR."
